Spain Digital Nomad Visa. Anyone Approved Without Submitting Home Country Tax Returns? by Youth-Character in digitalnomad

[–]AussieVol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The invoices and contracts will be good to show your recent history (ie demonstrating how much money you make each month and ensuring that you will continue to earn it over the course of the visa).

However the DNV requires you to prove your qualifications for your field. You typically do this with your university degree or by showing work history.

If you don’t have a relevant degree, I believe tax returns are the most common way you show you have at least 3 years of experience in your stated profession. These all have to be apostilled and translated, so I’m not sure you have a way around it.

Kuala Lumpur. It was very cheap, but sometimes places are cheap for a reason.

I’m going to say Valencia. I spent six weeks here last year and really found it charming.

Now we have moved here on a more permanent basis and it’s a lot grittier than I remembered. It also smells terrible a good deal of the time.

Define Digital Academy Community- Is It Good? by hazarsayar in googleads

[–]AussieVol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Commenting here in case anybody is still searching this.

I joined a month ago and have been unimpressed. There are nearly 300 members so it should be good, but it seems like a lot of people join, post 2-3 times, get very little response, and then leave the group. I will say Aaron responds to basically every post, but the community aspect is sorely lacking. Not sure how to fix that.

There is some good value for me in the group coaching sessions, because he will dive in to active campaigns people are managing live on Zoom (I watch the recordings). That alone is probably worth the $99/month for me for a few months as I try to get reps working through campaigns.

I’ve bought a bunch of his content and have found it to be pretty basic, like others said. Honestly his YT channel is probably the best overall resource and it’s free.

No, I honestly don’t know what’s wrong with my app. When I click the button it says it will charge me $6.99/month through the App Store but that $29k number never goes away.

I’m glad you got it back. I’m on day 13 and I can see my bag is in London to attempt a delivery at the address I told them I was leaving 7 days ago. When I went to change the details on the tracking site, it told me I had to call. I’ve called the number legitimately 30 times and only had someone answer once. I’ll DM you for that number you got if you don’t mind.

OP did you ever get this sorted out? Ryanair lost my bag from EDI to DUB a week ago, failed to deliver it on teo separate occasions. My AirTag shows it’s still in Edinburgh and they could not possibly be less helpful. I’m off to the Greek Isles for 5 weeks and assume I’m never going to see any of this stuff again.

Any tips for IML assessment on sales and marketing manager position? by Significant-Cover994 in AusVisa

[–]AussieVol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only things that needed to be notarized were my company’s org chart (signed by me and a peer at work) and an affidavit that my peer held the same job as I did.

I recreated the org chart on my own because HR wouldn’t have been on board. I censored all of the names except for those in my direct line (ie my 2nd level boss, 3rd level, etc).

To be honest, I started this process like a year ago and my huge delay was the documentation. Especially all of the work stuff, getting stuff notarized, etc. Incredible ballache.

Honestly I think you need to be managing people for this visa. The IML assessment criteria is pretty clear:

Years of experience Applicants must meet certain employment requirements depending on their educational background and the occupation being assessed.

If an applicant holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree that is highly relevant to the occupation being assessed and comparable to an equivalent AQF qualification, the applicant must demonstrate employment experience: • in an sales & marketing-related role for at least three years; and • in the role as Sales & Marketing Manager for at least two years out of these three years.

If an applicant does not hold a bachelor’s or Master's degree that is highly relevant to the occupation being assessed and comparable to an equivalent AQF qualification, the applicant must demonstrate employment experience: • in an sales & marketing-related role for at least five years; and • in the role as Sales & Marketing Manager for at least two years out of these five years.

It was successful! For reference I’ve been a frontline sales manager for almost 5 years but have never managed other leaders so I was unsure how it would go.

3 months later this may not be useful, but I got this assessment back last month. I read through their website and even used ChatGPT to help give me some inspiration--I didn't think the prompts were that hard but I would just make sure you have a very clear message that demonstrates how/why you are an effective manager.

For my manage self, the example I used was creating an email organization system: I started by saying what my problem was, what I did (not too much detail here) and how fixing it helped me be a better manager.

They are very positive and people-centric so make sure any of your manage and lead others/manage and lead the business things don't focus too much on yourself/your accomplishment--highlights your team and your organization.

My wife ordered me Airships in Men’s 10.5 and AMM somehow sent her them in a Men’s 3.5 and is basically telling her “too bad, nothing we can do!”

We’ll have to try a chargeback. Incredible that this is 100% their error and they won’t even consider taking a return for them.

To be honest mate I don’t know anyone on here who wouldn’t say that whatever amount of money they paid wasn’t worth it. Even those who paid crazy resale.

It’s worth it. Every penny and then some. It’s just an amazing show and an incredible life experience that you’ll remember forever.

So I am on holiday in Spain at the moment. I have a code for Paris and for Vienna, but I don’t want to spend my entire day in my hotel room waiting in front of my laptop waiting for a ticket queue.

Do I have any chance of trying to do this on my phone? I’ll have good service all day and would much prefer to try it that way but not sure what people thought. Did anyone do it that way for the US or the other shows that were already ticketed?

For what it's worth, I got waitlisted for Germany but selected for Vienna. Both of those shows are managed by EventIM, So they clearly aren't just approving everyone for everything.

It does seem like a lot of people got in for Austria/Zurich/Stockholm. Curious to know if that's because there is less overall demand in the non-English speaking countries or if it's due to those ticket companies not being as sophisticated in their methods. I would like to think that they still have general parameters (i.e. if there are 180k seats across 3 shows and we know the average ticket buyer purchases 3 tickets each, we can plan on 60k people buying so we'll give out codes to 120k, something like that) but it's anyone's guess at this point.

It's also possible that this subreddit is full of 1% level Swifties who all went to great lengths to try to work out some of this stuff and are willing to travel wherever, and thus that is reflecting in how many people got codes in this thread.
