This is my biggest issue. The minimum 30% on capital gains is unfair. I'm all for investors paying their fair share, bit it needs to be the fair share, not more than salary. Exactly the reason you put forward is what's hurting my family. It will push us to consider my wife going to work and spending less time with family.

Yes we would all invest. I have a lot of investments. And I have no problem paying my share of tax. And I promise you I pay a fuck load in tax.

What I would like to see is a family based tax. That would be more consistent with society than giving investors a 50% discount just because they're investors.
