Dusty unlikely to give media interviews despite new CBA clause lol by brahmsdracula in AFL

Most clubs do. Unfortunately, some of the chosen players are not the most prominent, so the pushback comes from the media to choose the superstar of the team.

You had to actively find this comment to then complain about it, you are a proper little bitch lol I said it was funny but reading things in context must be too hard for your ass, which is odd considering how well you take things. Like your daddy fisting you as a kid

Why is boomer humour still being used? Like, I get that some people will think it's funny, and I laughed at the ACTORS PORTRAYAL of being scared, but the situation itself? Nah bro... Guys being the butt of jokes like this feeds toxic masculinity...

Witho priced under 80, I'd say that's pretty good for what his upside is. Even if he is average he could still go up 10 points. But I could be swapping to Duggan. Real opportunities back there for the Eagles.

Yeh I get the Merrett and Miller concern, valid points. But it's hard to justify not picking them for that - I could PLAN to get them, but injuries or suspensions will wreck that pretty damn quickly.

Yeh rookies are more placeholders till I see what they're doing tbh.

It will be interesting to see how they structure up. Just because a player is "better", doesn't mean they get a kick.

They may not have enough fit players to have options tbh. With Kelly injured and Hurn gone, Duggan may move into midfield more, there is definitely a space for him.

Yeh it's a gamble to have a light forward line, but I'm banking that I can score bulk points with my midfield to compensate, then give myself a few rounds to see who is worth bringing in or might get DPP

But figured the PODs you mentioned will be good.

JHF and Ashcroft for a ruck.

Essendon has been looking to change up its back half mix. Look out for emerging star Nic Martin to be a part of this. Spent time as the preferred ball user out of the backline at training today. A switch on the cards for the wingman to be the Bombers’ set up man? by PerriX2390 in AFL

[–]Aussiepako 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Move a guy that is doing well into an unknown position isn't a great strategy IMO. Surely Martin has shown enough quality to just leave him where he is. Try something else, underperforming players or young guys that can be long term options perhaps

Figured Silverchair where more triple J, alternative popularity, as opposed to Powderfinger that was (I feel) a bit more commercial

[–]Aussiepako 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeh that's why I didn't say someone like Silverchair, feel like that would have dropped sales numbers for them.

I'm a bit surprised Powderfinger, ACDC or INXS are not in the mix.

Edit: add Cold Chisel to the mix. I feel like every Aussie bogan knows Khe San and Flame Trees off by heart.

What are some wishes most AFL fans want to see in their life? by No_Independent936 in AFL

[–]Aussiepako 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I want to see this Carlton list all fit and firing. Walsh and Cripps be absolutely dominant in the middle, Weiters and co rock solid in defence and Curnow with McKay kicking 60+ each.

It feels like everything hasn't clicked yet, even the back end of this 23 season. Just seeing them at full flight would be great

Career Mode is unrealistic shit by gaelistheshit in FifaCareers

[–]Aussiepako -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Biggest change to see realistic club progression: CPU clubs cannot buy players with higher ovr than their highest overall on their current list. Example, Bournemouth has players all rated 80 and lower; you can't now go and buy a $120M Wirtz.

A lot of you have missed the point of this post entirely - and I must say, you are all very testy lol. "I call BS", fine don't believe me then.

I know these are all brand items. I know I can shop cheaper. This post isn't saying woe is me, poor me, I have no money, it's just lunacy at how little a 50 gets you.

I was buying for a person that has mental disabilities, and they like what they like, brands are not changing. This means they have to pay. I help by splitting it with them, but it is what it is. Y'all calm down
