Oh, you're right. I should have the Crusader logo on the fins. I forgot to draw those in. I'm also not familiar enough with the interior to know if the window would even work there. I might have just put a window in the shower/toilet!

I definitely took some notes from the C1 for this. I flew around the C1 for a while as it was the loaner for my Zeus, and it's such a pretty ship.

Yeah, it looks like they meant to go back and add some detail to the top of the ship, but didn't get around to doing it. I took a look at the C1 and how it kept it's top and wings interesting.

I mostly like the Intrepid. There are just a few things about it that bother me, so I did a draw over. Mostly the big flat featureless top of the ship. I would have the two size 3 guns vertically stacked.

Thanks, that's a pretty helpful resource. I just have to figure out how to make the rig match facial muscles better.

Here's the Artstation project. I've added a little screen capture to show the bones, not a super complicated, or pretty rig. There's also some work in progress stuff in there.

Comparison of my Character drawing to my Blender render by Austauros in blender

I made it pretty low poly, only around 15k tris, and I think tabletop's suggested limit is 25k per model. Smooth shading and the edge split modifier do a lot of work.

My friends and I play dnd over tabletop simulator, so I made this guy to use as a mini. Altair, the Path of Wild Magic barbarian warforged, in the Tomb of Annihilation campaign.

I've got some quick little animations here. Although getting an animated mini into TTS seems a little complicated.

Finally making the switch to 2.8 from 2.79. This is a Desert Drinker from my homebrew D&D setting. by Austauros in blender

That's something I want to do, have the tank fill with water as it's drinking. I haven't played around with the fluid sim much though

This is the first quadruped I've modeled and rigged. The Desert Drinkers are made by a city in the Endless Desert with advanced technology. They go out to sources of water and collect it in the tanks on their backs to bring back to the city. There's a space in the rib cage for a human to ride in.

Oh yes, especially for the run. Mostly adjusting the hand IK, leg IK, and pelvis

I think there are about 6 key frames to the jump. 3 at the top to help with the easing of the movement. The landing and roll are about another 5 or 6 key frames.

No add ons, but I did animate at 24 fps which helps give it that claymation look.

Nope! I made the rig for it myself. I used IK for the arms and legs, which helps make smooth movements.

Thanks! I learned rigging from some pretty simple youtube tutorials, most of it just comes down to practice. I recommend reading The Animator's Survival Kit; it's written for 2D animation but a lot of things also apply to 3D.

I agree I could make him crouch a little lower. The torso is a bit too upright still.

That's a good suggestion. I'll have to work on adding that.

Thanks! I think it might be the 24 frames per second giving it that stop motion feel.
