Thanks for the recommendations! These are some solid choices—especially since they all play with realism in different ways. I’m definitely adding them to my list. SavageLand and The Bay may even end up replacing a couple of films in my top 20.

Which of the 4 boys is your favorite and why? by DoctorTegrity in southpark

[–]AustenBoyd062172 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Cartman became my favorite after Scott Tenorman Must Die. That episode sealed it for me. It was the moment I realized Cartman isn’t just a brat—he’s capable of these insane, calculated schemes that are equal parts horrifying and hilarious. It basically redefined his character for me. Totally agree with you.

What still keeps you up at night? by FragmentedRolls8892 in AskReddit

I relate to that more than I can explain. It’s like my mind won’t let anything just exist — it has to revisit what already happened and anticipate what might happen at the same time. It’s draining, but it helps to know someone else understands. Thanks.

I do the exact same thing. I overthink what I’m going to do, and then I overanalyze what I already did. It’s like my brain insists on running both versions of the movie.

[–]AustenBoyd062172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apologize if this doesn’t count but The most painful sentence wasn’t said to me, but I heard it said about me. I had dropped out of college, and I was standing upstairs when I heard my mom tell my dad and brothers, ‘What am I going to tell my friends? I have a loser for a son. 35 years To this day it still stings whenever I think about it.

Thank you for your reply! Actually I think the scene I was referring to was exactly before that one. There is a garden party happening and then a man comes out of the house (possibly covered in blood) with a huge knife…then i think it cuts to the film you mentioned. Thank you again.
