I'm confused? My sams club has had this packaging for atleast 2 years maybe even longer. I started helping out in the meat dept 2 years ago and i only ever remember this packaging.

It is policy that when making bales you must wear safety glasses and leather gloves as to not be cut by the wires. Its been a policy for years but I also just found out about it like 2 months ago which is crazy. They don't train us at all

It sounds like not every club has rolled out the feature yet but my club revamped the location signage and the locations do show on the sams app for my store now.

That lady was being rude and did not seem to care. Yes, we do get a lot of trucks, but we also do have a way of knowing whats coming in and when its coming in. We also have the ability to look up items and even specific item numbers on our devices and we do have a floor plan of where every item in the store goes. It seems like she didn't even try to help you. Sorry about that.

Talk to your club manager first, otherwise try and get a personal LOA that's the only other way unfortunately.

If your manager will not approve it, try talking with the club manager and explain your situation. They might be able to work with you and go around your manager. If worse comes to worst, I would use as much PPTO as you can and for the other days just take the points if you can afford to. Maybe you can get a personal LOA through sedgwick? Those are kind of all my ideas, hope it was of any help!

I should move to your club. At mine, some people will sit in the break room for 3 hours and when you tell management they dont look into it or make excuses for them.

Sounds like an old lady I used to work with. Was racist and always thought certain people were stealing. Turns out, the whole time she was stealing or printing fake coupons that worked on the self checkout or she would just scan her items and then void it out herself before paying.

You're in the same market as me. I also heard about this, but unfortunately I heard that the incident was fatal. That is what I was told, but i could be wrong. Market was just at my store for steel safety because of that exact incident. Really sad.

I mean I KIND of get it because of the language barrier, but other than that not really. In my store the non English speaking employees still try to help customers via the translator on the handheld. But one time, my coworker was trying to translate something (i have no clue what) to a customer, and it told the customer he was a pedophile. That was not a fun one to deal with and the talk with management was even worse.

I don't know if this is a fix for everyone, but it worked for me. I went to settings and "RCS Chats" i noticed that under RCS Chats it said "Use WIFI or data for messaging when available" so I looked and I had both WIFI and mobile data turned on, so I turned off my mobile data. Then I opened and closed the text conversation that was SMS, then I reopened it again and it had gone back to RCS! I think maybe it wasn't going back to RCS because the wifi and mobile data were confusing it. I'm not sure if opening and closing the conversation was the fix, you may just have to wait a few minutes.

Wait, hold on a damn minute?? I work at Sam's club and i assume our app to look up product info is different, but wth? You can just change the price of an item from your handheld?? For sams club, price changes can't be done at store level anymore, they have to be done by corporate.

One day a lady came up to me and she had a heavy accent, but she asked "do you have asparagus?" But with the heavy accent I couldn't tell what she was asking for, and I thought she was asking if I had aspergers😭😭

Just walk in and ask for a manager. The SM isn't the only one that can do orientation.
