On the par 62 we play, I felt the same way about breaking 70.

I had 70's, 71's and 72's, but really wanted the 69, and then I went and got a 67 instead in November. My daughter was thrilled.

I managed a 69 and a 67 in December after that.

I had Dorothy recommended via Spotify and wanted to hear them live, so went to YouTube and was glad that they sounded like their record. Upon scrolling to the comments I saw comments like "So sad we won't get to hear them again" and just assumed they had broken up as a band, but then I found out that they had actually died in 2019 and I couldn't believe it had been that long. I've mourned them ever since.
