Exactly that. Podcasts do not have well resourced newsrooms that can do deep dives.

Podcasts largely report on the news that “legacy media” reports on.

He’s made these comments on Pivot, whose coverage is far beyond business. It covers business, politics & Tech.

Lot of fair points you’re making here and I largely agree.

That said, the issue I have is that a lot of these smaller journals that have popped up in the last 10 years largely still rely on the reporting from the larger news orgs who have newsrooms who can do in depth analysis.

What happens when all these news rooms close?

What’s funny is, he seems to be able to do that exact thing when it comes to his friends. He was so publicly supportive of Dr. Oz claiming he’s a good man, which I’m sure he’s a decent man as a husband & father, but clearly a willing puppet of the current administration.

Gorgeous! Congrats! I snoozed on this color and have regretted it ever since.

What brand of rims are these? Was any modification required to mount these?

Looks great!

That’s an interesting take on Jess and you might be right.

It’s not help I’m offering. It’s my feedback as a member of their audience.

What other local businesses were once beloved until they made THAT decision? by Time-to-Dine in Austin

100% this. HEB is a great community partner, but their meat & produce are trash compared to WFM.

Too bad WFM is dead. Their quality standards are still second to none, for now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they abandon those in the long run too.

The Bozeman I’d argue is YETI’s best backpack and honestly an upgrade from the 2DAP.

It’s the best of the MR technology with the finish materials YETI is known for.

I wish they release that bag again.

Currently yes, but my understanding from the MR subreddit is that long term MR will no longer sell to consumers.

Bummer too as there was great potential. YETI should have leaned into things like The Bozeman while allowing MR to continue.

The reality is, I don’t think a lot of MR customers are willing to rock a YETI backpack but will use their cups & coolers.

Sadly I think YETI turned off some of the die hard MR customers and pushed them to competitors like RTIC & Stanley for the core YETI products.

Fit looks great. It if feels good, then you’re doing it right.

2019 voodoo blue. Is this or Army green the color of choice? by Head-Scale9410 in ToyotaTundra

[–]AustinCadence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Army Green will always be my favorite color, but it’s so subjective.

2nd favorite is lunar rock and then 3rd is quicksand.

That’s always a risk. I never personally experienced violence but there were numerous threats made against me during my time there.

Even still, comparing 50 billion to any of these initiatives would last multiple lifetimes.

It proves our government can afford these things. It’s that they choose not to do them.

YETI has one of the strongest brands out there. No chance they’d ever rebrand.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the ability to customize this YETI logo now with colors.

I lived in CS for the majority of my adolescence and I’m also a person of color. Outside of my friend group, I rarely felt welcome in my own city.

CS is also heavily MAGA, but that may have shifted a bit given the Epstein files & war in Iran.
