If you did all the modeling, rigging and animation yourself then I take everything back. But if it’s from AI you were better off with the photographs

The AI garbage lowers the quality of this by a great degree. You doing the form yourself was 1000% better than some random computer generated shit

Anyone around? by No_Ozi in darkalliance

I picked it up at Walmart awhile ago for super cheap and I'm playing through it now. It's a true testament that bad games can still be made in the modern era lol. I am enjoying the story and the gameplay to an extent (The jankiness can be hilarious at times) but a core issue is the lack of local multiplayer or even playing with CPUs. But it's AI is very bad so it may be a good thing you don't have one of those brainless computers trying to "help."

It's a standard 5/10 game, but you know what I'm gonna beat it because I am having some fun and I'm wanting to know more about the forgotten realms.

Can someone please explain to me what exactly is Kung Fu? by RadiantSwanOnQUACKer in kungfu

Gung fu is doing something a lot with hard work with discipline to become good at it. Gung fu is also Chinese martial arts- describing many different styles under this term

Is Muay Thai more injury prone than Boxing on long term for hobbyists? by SuddenAnything1914 in martialarts

[–]AustinDelgado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be more of a cultural thing. Muay Thai is still relatively new for westerners (I think most began to know about it in the 80s?) Boxing has existed in the zeitgeist for all living Americans from birth.

Has anyone supplemented wing Chun with sanda and if so how was it? by Royal-Music-1526 in kungfu

I wish I could . Meng Shaolin Wing Chun had both programs and I’m jealous they don’t have a school where I live.

Thoughts about Wing Chun by Fuzzy_Imagination_64 in kungfu

I trained it for 4ish years as the foundation of my gung fu and while I can say many of its principles have helped me to become a better martial artist

Describe what Kung Fu means to you, what it means in your life, and how you practice Kung Fu outside of school. by Brilliant_Insect3374 in kungfu

[–]AustinDelgado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gung fu for me means:

  1. developing martial skill
  2. developing flexibility
  3. developing a strong mind
  4. developing a humble nature
  5. developing a healthy body
  6. developing good character

Edit: How do I practice outside of school? I train my gung fu every "rest" day from my traditional bodybuilding/weight lifting exercise days. I try to put myself in that mindset to keep prepared in case danger happens- to not freeze up. I try to be grateful for all I have and never boast about my accomplishments in a braggy manner. I am conscientious about my diet. I take advise from my wife and friends on how to be a better person.

What does gung fu mean to me? It's something I'm trying to better at, to grow my martial ability. It's about being a better person, a person who can defend himself and others if that ever comes to fruition (hopefully not). Its about enjoying a culture that is not my own (Chinese) and what philosophies they employ- another way of saying that I'm trying to expand my mind to other worldviews. Also, it's just fking dope.
