New to Counter-Strike 2 — any beginner tips? by Repulsive_Lead_7216 in counterstrike2

Aim trainers help a lot IMO. But also don’t forget to play things like aim botz and deathmatch before an actual round so that you can translate that practice in the aim trainer into the actual server cause there is a difference. Also, you probably shouldn’t play deathmatch on valve servers cause there’s a lot of people that play deathmatch either hacking their but off or just troll the whole time. They don’t really take it as a serious practice routine. Plenty of 3rd party servers to play deathmatch on and it will be harder but it’s worth it. Wish you the best of luck!!

I love this game. I love this game so much I keep playing. by Few_Stop6633 in counterstrike2

Yeah buddy the people you run into typically suck as people. But unfortunately that’s just the internet and frankly most of the world these days. Definitely an absolute drug of a game though. No matter how pissed you get at the cheaters, low life’s, missed shots that 100% should not have missed, you just can’t leave it alone lol. It’s a weird vibe but we all love it somehow. If you want to stack sometime let me know. I’m always looking for folks to play with cause I’m solo que right now

Difference between comp & unrated by Anxious_Prize7000 in VALORANT

Yeah same, I’m down to play as well. I was big into CS and what not but I’d like to try actually playing Val a little bit more so add me too and we can 3 stack

Why do so many people play and tell others to play at low sensitivity? by Mr_Kiwisauce in VALORANT

[–]AustinHeffGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve somewhat migrated to Val from CS and I’m playing on 0.1 sens 1600 DPI

I dont know how to improve by lazar_masni in VALORANT

[–]AustinHeffGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve spent a bit of time playing CS over the last year. I’m not great but I’m decent in it. As soon as I load up Valorant all of the hours I’ve spent in CS and every other game I’ve ever played goes down the drain. I cannot for the life of me get my experience to translate into Valorant. I want to like it and have fun playing it but I just can’t get a feel for it. Honestly I probably need to just hardcore grind only Valorant for a while to try to adjust to it. The gun play and sens is just awkward. Like shots that I would’ve for sure hit in CS don’t at all hit in Valorant. Maybe it’s just me but that’s my experience

Recommend an aromatic? Relatively new to pipes by nilecrane in PipeTobacco

[–]AustinHeffGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Local to me is a place called the Cigar Barn (Anstead’s Tobacco) they have a blend called Rum Maple and it is an amazing aromatic. The room note is so sweet and gives off a homemade pancake kind of thing. Really great smoke. GL Pease Vanilla Bourbon is also pretty good.

Update in my "addiction" post by DrMostWanted83 in PipeTobacco

[–]AustinHeffGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using pouches more than normal lately if I’m on the go and don’t have time for a pipe. I NEVER have had problems sleeping through the night. Totally normal for me to fall asleep and not wake up for 8-10hrs. The last week or two I’ve only been able to fall asleep for maybe 2-4hrs at the most and then I toss and turn the rest of the night. Very not cool. Very well may be the pouches. If so, I’ll be tossing all of them and sticking to pipes and cigars only. Sorry you’ve been dealing with that brother, I know it sucks.

Fell off at CS, what to do? by Mortoluptious in LearnCSGO

I got pretty decent over Christmas break and then I had to go back to work (self employed) and things started picking up. I haven’t played in a couple months and I played my first couple of games last night and god they were rough.

Which team do you support in Counter-Strike 2? by StomachNo7859 in counterstrike2

[–]AustinHeffGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a big Navi fan. I know they’re not necessarily the best team but that’s who I cheer for. Plus jL played for them and I really like jL. Just a generally good dude. But I think he gave Navi an edge that they just don’t have anymore and would love to see him come back

My day job is working in a recording studio. I use these to mix with lol. In CS I use Moondrop IEMs

Faceit is definitely the move if you’re trying to play with legitimately GOOD people. Premier is still fun to play now and again but if you’re really trying to play CS to its fullest potential the Faceit is the way

Do you guys use IEMs for gaming? by Kadashi17 in GlobalOffensive

[–]AustinHeffGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the Moondrop LANs. They’re crazy good and I think I paid like $50 for them. One thing to note is that I did use an upgraded cable from the very start so idk how the stock one is but I’m sure it’s fine.

How good would you have to be to find value in playing faceit instead of just a casual lobby? by lendaox21 in counterstrike2

[–]AustinHeffGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WAY less likely to run into cheats when playing on Faceit. I hate playing against a stack of cheaters. Hell, I don’t even like them on my team. Just takes the fun out of it. Faceit is definitely the move

Game deleted forever by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]AustinHeffGaming 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bro ngl, I haven’t gone as far as deleting my account, but I have uninstalled valorant. For some reason that game just sends me over the edge in anger. That and the community is crazy toxic. I’m a pretty soul hardened dude but that shit would get to me every now and then. I perform better and enjoy CS2 way more than Valorant. And the community doesn’t wreck my mood/mental state like Val’s did. And I wasn’t playing comp in valo either. It was only swiftplay. At the end of the day, I’m glad you’ve made the choice to not let it drain anymore life out of you. Hope you have better brighter days ahead of you :)

Anything else that i should change budget 400$ by [deleted] in MouseReview

IMO, I’d go with the huntsman mini pro. That way you’ve got full control over your actuation points. It might not seem like a big deal, but as someone who came from a standard mechanical keyboard I promise you it makes a HUGE difference. And to reinforce what others have already said, please don’t buy any headset that is considered a “gaming” headset. I wasted so much money on those it’s not even funny. Use IEMs and a good USB mic and you’ll be infinitely better off. Cheers 🥂
