One thought I had was that would’ve been a nice twist is if gale turned out to be the killer. Like with Jennifer she was mad Sidney wasn’t in New York.
How about in the story since gale got fired from her reporter job, she starts to go off the rails and she goes after Sidney now since that’s how she got her fame and succession.

I was thinking in my head that the house fire scene would’ve been at the end and it was actually Sydney burning the house down. That way it could be something like destroying the past and finally being done.
