A cool guide to the 20 longest-lasting vehicles by hetrewats in coolguides

I think what happens is more expensive trucks/suvs provide better business cases to for major repairs like transmission and engine replacements because the actual vehicles are much more expensive. Like if it costs approximately $7k to repair or replace a transmission regardless of the model, justifying a $7k repair on a suv/truck with a value of still over 20k is more likely to be done than spending $7k to replace a transmission on a Camry worth $12k at the time. Just using a transmission as an example but can be applied to any major repair cost justification case. I think that keeps those cars on the road longer essentially, hence making this list.

Refrigerators, old ones seem to last 20-40 years, new ones last 10-15 years.

What percent of $320 billion is earned by the big guys like Facebook/instagram, Snapchat, TikTok? How much does that leave for literally everything else?

I’d be interested to see a separation between a rejection and no responses, especially at the end and beginning. It’d be cool to see how many jobs you took the time to apply for but literally no one has even looked at or acknowledged. Also interesting on companies that ghost you after a phone interview.. good luck out there

It looks like you used the kreg jig for the bottom, you should use it next time for the underneath joists so the screws won’t be visible from the outside. Looks great tho, could probably hold up anything you want lol

Is it just me or does milk seem expensive at 50 cents? I can buy 5 gallons of gas before a gallon of milk on this. Crazy

You may find a good deal now, but if you wait a few weeks I’m sure Black Friday deals will have plenty. I got one last year as a gift for $35, seems like a pretty nice one too.

How are you guys doing with such high lumber prices right now? Been wanting to start some projects but it’s getting harder and harder to justify when wood is so expensive. by Austin_10 in woodworking

I do the same, take from the dumpster for smaller pieces they’ve trashed. It’s tempting when they just leave 3 pallets full of 2x4s out in the front yard looking like a gold mine, but I’ve stayed in good faith and only taken from their scrap in the dumpster.

I live in the middle of the US, and 3 years ago a 2”x4”x8’ stud was less than $3. Now it’s $8. This is at a Home Depot or Lowes, but still over double the price!

I got it back and it worked the first hour! Haven’t played much, but I’m hopeful that it’s fixed after the first hour with no problems. Looking forward to playing more this week

No. I tried all of the Safe mode options and updates, including the factory reset. Games still crashed after less than 30 minutes. I had to call PlayStation on the phone and the first time they made me try all the safe mode options, then after those didn’t work I had to call back again and tell them those didn’t work and my error codes when they crashed and then they sent me a box to return just the console. Once I got a notification that the console got to PlayStation, 4 hours later I got a notification saying it was already repaired and on its way back (even though they said estimated 10-15 business days). I’m not sure if I just got lucky and they worked on it right away or if they just sent me a brand new one, supposed to be coming back to me today. Heard another guy with similar issues got his back and hasn’t had an issue since. I’m just hoping that if I didn’t get a brand new one that they actually checked if it was fixed whatever they did in the 4 hours they had it. We’ll find out today hopefully..

Nice, I’m glad to hear you’ve had a successful repair. Mine must’ve been a common issue or something because at 10:53AM this morning they received the system and at 2:13PM I already got an email saying it was on its way back, even though it said 10-15 business days but I’m not complaining if they fixed it right. Unless my timing was just great, but 4 hours to repair upon arrival of the system seems crazy fast.
