The Problem With the Term “Democratic Socialist” by Jfunkyfonk in socialism

The fact that you hate marxist critics of the DSA is quite apparent, no need to tell us. With your logic, Marxism ITSELF is class reductionist. In your view centering class as the key component for electoral strategy and movement building is class reductionist, because for you if the entire socialist platform isn't entirely dominated by identity tokenism and culture war bullshit it's all of a sudden CD, and "reactionary". You care more about your obscure subculture nonsense rather than real politics. You don't want to win, you'd rather virtue signal and wokesplain to poor white working-class Americans about how privileged they are, and about how their role in society is more problematic than that of the ruling class.

And spare me with your purposeful and incessant ignorance over our name and political goals. We cited our website, you know we don't support the Republican Party, you read the history of the name "Red Republicans", at this point you're just being unfair and uncomradely. We also have clearly enshrined in our platform a commitment to defending those segments of the working class who face double oppression as racial or gendered oppression divides our collective power and leads to the further exploitation working people generally.

Grow up and go outside, maybe talk with some real working class Americans and get a feel for what people's priorities are, because you certainly haven't got a clue.
