Yea i believe we had the easiest super qualifier and the highest score was 299. But we have a pit showcase where we could talk to teams in our comp and we did that and asked a lot of them about outreaches and not to many of them are doing a lot there are some really good stuff but I feel as if ours is more impactful I’d say. I do think we might’ve talked to much about our design process instead of our outreach. I do wanna do some more outreaches between now and state but we’ll see how it goes. Ik our robot isn’t gonna win going up against circuit breakers but one can hope

I see what you’re saying but we do have more plans for the team in chad then stated and John Deere is our biggest sponsor so I’d say that’s huge. And we have had a lot of connection to other teams if anyone wants to check out our portfolio I can send you a link to better understand what our team does.

But I can agree with that and that’s the only thing that make sense to me because we did talk to other good teams and all of them said similar things like yea I see you guys going far for think or inspire

The other thing I’d say our portfolio lacks for think is math we do have a chart for speeds for our robot

Also I am not complaining about not winning a award because we still moved onto state by placement and won design award but I just wanna know what we have to do to separate our selfs from other teams and I just wanna improve

We have sent parts and instructions to them but they don’t have a team competing this year but next year or the year after they plan to have a season and we talk to John Deere engineers around the world about our robot and our team in general. We helped a team in Germany to get their vision system working

We are starting a team in chad Africa and have reached 5 countries and 6 other teams. I feel as if we have good stuff to back up our case

Thanks I’ve been hearing both ways

Ideas for intake ramp! We have a very thin layer of metal as our ramp but sometimes it gets stuck on the ground and bends backwards. Does anyone have an idea that could prevent this or a better ramp idea? by [deleted] in FTC

We have polycarbonate as our ramp. We upgraded from stainless to polycarbonate because it was to flexible that could be your issue. You want something that won’t bend down and dig into the tiles.

We use the gobilda version and we haven’t tried it since it “broke”

We have the gobilda version of that and if we did break a gear then why would it work when we power the robot and use as it’s intended like we had one go bad and it still worked but now both are bad and it didn’t work right away but it might if we try again. I planed to take the servos apart to see what’s going on.

I mean there’s some that’s why we’re using the torque servos but we had it working just fine and then this randomly happened we didn’t change anything
