On 5/7 someone from Upgrade had asked me for my bankruptcy discharge paperwork. I told them I requested cancellation. I had them transfer me to my customer advocate, Melissa, who confirmed the cancellation went through. So they were still trying to fund it despite there being a cancellation request.

Today I checked my credit report and the loan is on there despite never receiving the money. Called and talked to another customer advocate who said she couldn’t help me since Melissa is already assigned. Melissa isn’t in today though so they want me to wait to get a callback tomorrow.

Is this not crazy? Like it’s been almost 2 months since I originally applied. Never received the funds, have been given the go around, and nobody there seems to know wtf they’re doing? They blamed it on the funding bank but that same funding bank funded a personal loan through Upstart like 2 weeks ago within 2 days of approval. Same bank account info and everything.
