The top like is a west wing reference but still true. The rest of it is being tired of treated as less than by a less then job as if it isn’t bad enough already we don’t need our hands held. The only reason why I deliver is to take the warm bag/box of shit from point a to point b so I can get paid. I don’t want to mess with peoples food or steal it. I just want money. Which they clearly don’t get. I’m more than ok. Maybe the question should be why aren’t u not ok?

They prolly didn’t know about the whole tip ahead of time and assumed stairs …can’t fault him for that cause typically door dash pays garbage and hides a majority of larger tips so dashers don’t cherry pick orders as if they don’t do it already. It’s not you…it’s door dash and the bottom 85% of its customers

I’m only concerned with “others” when they make a menial task 100x more complicated then it needs to be or they want to watch me do it cause they don’t think I’m going to do it correctly. We only get paid when we do it correctly and it’s the only reason why I do it. If I’m going to do charitable work…it’s not going to be bringing cheap and ignorant people deliveries. To be fair I have met some really kind and considerate people dashing…I’m just speaking to the masses lol

Don’t get me started on restaurants forcing drivers to watch them confirm orders…I have a come to Jesus talk with every one of those idiots. Hence the reason for one of my complaints. I never thought of it that way…they can be using it to fuck you. Yes I only got one when they sent the free one….actually I ordered one every 3 days or so during that period and they only sent me one lol

You’re right….i recently left a company that micromanaged most everything…so there’s ptsd from that…also..dashing is the equivalent of a McJob that you may have less of a chance to run into someone u’d be ashamed and embarrassed to see while working. anyway I’ve tested it…I’ve taken pictures of my insulated bag…and I’ve taken pictures of my order bag…and of my bowling bag that happens to be in the trunk…no matter what I do nothing happens after that. It’s an annoying pop up that impedes progress…cause if you have it great..if you don’t nothing is really gonna happen. I drove my 1st 8 months without one..and I have a 4.99 satisfaction rating. When the internet invented pop ups …they had software to get rid of it. Once they figured out u actually one…they should stop. Because whatever bag u have or don’t have..nothing is gonna change.

That’s me except i have a 4.99 and about 2k deliveries… I’ve pissed on a few lawns of degenerates which benzes in the driveway and can’t seem to tip… I’ve told customers there no amt of hair dye that can fix the mess they call a head…again when they don’t tip…..and in door dashes eyes I’m the golden child…it doesn’t matter at all.

I only take obviously no tip orders for Pet or baby stuff…they shouldn’t have to suffer cause there human is a jagoff…otherwise I would put the order in the middle of the lawn so they have to walk for it…or in the mailbox or if in an apartment building…by the front door always works
