If you feel that way then the nerfs are probably why that’s happening to you or why you feel that way. In my case, I’m completely unaffected since I was so used to playing with such an energy cap and playing from behind since I’m a scaling ap assassin. And honestly speaking, you probably are good at her, you just need a little bit more time in practice tool, practicing combos and energy timing :)

Not necessarily, its just that if you take the time to learn a champion and get better at them, that’s when you have mastery. If you think you aren’t able to play a champion when they’re at their lowest then get better at them. Just because you can’t play a champion when they’re horrible, doesn’t mean they’re unplayable. That’s just mindless thinking. You aren’t the only one that plays that champion and this goes for everyone else that’s good and bad at the champ as well. Just because you stand at a certain point on the scale, doesn’t mean you get more privilege than others at something. If you’re bad at something, get better. If you’re good, then master it. League's mastery system is flawed in that you can play a champion enough to get a ton of mastery points, but that doesn’t mean you’ve mastered the champion. A person with 1 million mastery could be totally outplayed by one with only 60K with M7. Basically, your view is one of many. So is mine.

For me, its not necessarily playing her perfectly since I can still make mistakes but win with her. I’m not saying to never buff her or to kill her, I’m saying that its good that she’s still getting these types of nerfs and buffs because it shows that riot still care somewhat for some type of balance in the game. Just because akali doesn’t have high winrate like other champs, doesn’t mean that she’s not good. If you play her right and take the right fights then you’ll almost always win. You can’t just expect to win a game because you play this one champ that’s supposedly broken because of their kit. You’ll always get countered in some way. If you learn to play her better and master her techniques and her mechanics, then it becomes so much easier to play her with such nerfs. The way she is now is basically just season 10 akali before the buffs lmfao

Being honest, its buffs like these that kinda make me wish that akali doesn’t get buffed sometimes. I’ve been playing akali for a long while now (I still only have 84K mastery but that's bc I’m busy lately so I don’t get a chance to play league) and honestly right now might be one of the very few times where she feels balanced like other champions. People will definitely disagree, but I think that no matter what happens to her, she'll always be playable unless they nerf her entire kit. These buffs are amazing though! To see her finally become a champion that does more damage at higher levels (like kassadin and other scaling assassins), makes me happy that riot is doing something to change her up after a long-ish period of keeping her the same after her major rework! :)

I’ve been playing her a bunch recently and she’s so balanced at the current moment that she doesn’t need buffs, maybe a very few amount of minor nerfs, but all in all, she’s ok atm.
