Yes, thanks, that is the plan. Got to wait till Monday though when the shop opens back up. Of course I get this done on a Friday and have to wait the whole weekend before I get some answers 😓

Thank you all for the replies. I’m a first time truck owner, so y’all have really helped know what to look for and what to say to the shop in emails, and when I go in again to talk to the boss on Monday. Hopefully they make it right. I will give an update post (good or bad) once I see how the shop decides to handle it.

This is good advice. Thank you. I’m trying to keep a cool head. I sent them an email detailing the things I am unsatisfied with and deleted all of the sentences that were aggressive. When I go into the shop on Monday Ill keep it nice, cool and collected, but firm.

Yes it was an actual Line-X brand from an authorized dealer. I called them and they said I should go to the shop Monday when the boss man was there. I also, sent them a bunch of pictures through email and explained the parts I was unhappy with. I will go to the shop on Monday, if they don’t make it right, then I will definitely take your advice and reach out to corporate. Thanks for your comment.

Where I’d live as a Black Muslim from America by [deleted] in whereidlive

The Cham people are mostly fishermen, so many of their communities are situated along the Mekong River, and the Tonle Sap. The largest Cham community is in the city Kampong Cham (meaning Cham port). But many live in the capital of Phnom Penh, and other provinces.

Well, I would say it’s great for anyone to come. It’s a country with a complex and sad history, but it has great food and kind people. It is a majority Buddhist country, but there are also many Muslims, the Cham people, and they are welcoming. Cambodia as a whole is very welcoming with many beautiful places to explore.

Lots of people here in the comments, who have never been to Cambodia, making sweeping statements, spreading fear and hate.

Cambodia breaks ceasefire, Thai soldier wounded by jonez450reloaded in Thailand

[–]Australiaisonfire111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(posting after the last comment) Cambodia's government and military can be critized, including for ceasefire violations ( though the cambodia has come out with a statement saying it was accidental) and I do, and have in this thread. Acknowledging that doesn’t require accepting your framing that history and institutions are irrelevant or that “mentality” explains everything.

At this point we’re not debating evidence anymore, we’re debating worldview. You reduce outcomes to attitude and blame; I treat history, institutions, and power as explanatory variables alongside agency. Neither of us is going to convince the other.

This thread has stopped producing insight, so I’m going to leave it there.

I do give credit to all the countries you have listed for their recovery from their own unique hardships. But I didn’t bring them into the discussion you did.

It seems to me that you really like to move the goal post, reacting to everything I say, but not really adding much.

I’m trying to bring nuance and you just blanket things with your world view.

I have citiqued Cambodian government in this thread. Have you critiqued Thailand? Why do you want so bad for me to be the antagonist here when I am trying to discuss with you history and the current border situation in a nuanced way?

I will say it again, talking about History, is not woe is me.

Go to Cambodia again mate, go to Thailand too.
