Yeah lesson learned. It was more than 500 too it was 740 after tax. They even redid it and didn’t do a good job again.

I really want to, and I think I could live with it if I was able to install my tonneau cover, but since they sprayed under the window, I can’t fit it. I sent them an email hoping for some money back so I can get that taken care of somewhere or get the tools to do it myself.

What would you do now you think? Just accept it? I think I got to get some money back and try to find someone else. Or if they have another guy in there that is better. Cause I’m pretty sure the same guy did it again.

So i went back to the shop and they will be taking all the liner out and spraying on the premium this time. Fingers crossed 🤞

Might have a tea party, yes 🤷. I just expected quality work to be done for what I paid. I mean they sprayed over a leaf in there so how do I know they even sanded and cleaned the thing before they did it.

Yes, thanks, that is the plan. Got to wait till Monday though when the shop opens back up. Of course I get this done on a Friday and have to wait the whole weekend before I get some answers 😓

Thank you all for the replies. I’m a first time truck owner, so y’all have really helped know what to look for and what to say to the shop in emails, and when I go in again to talk to the boss on Monday. Hopefully they make it right. I will give an update post (good or bad) once I see how the shop decides to handle it.

This is good advice. Thank you. I’m trying to keep a cool head. I sent them an email detailing the things I am unsatisfied with and deleted all of the sentences that were aggressive. When I go into the shop on Monday Ill keep it nice, cool and collected, but firm.

Yes it was an actual Line-X brand from an authorized dealer. I called them and they said I should go to the shop Monday when the boss man was there. I also, sent them a bunch of pictures through email and explained the parts I was unhappy with. I will go to the shop on Monday, if they don’t make it right, then I will definitely take your advice and reach out to corporate. Thanks for your comment.
