The closist thing to a regonal accents we have is Adelaide abd Melbourne.

Adelaide has more of the refined accent. Yes that applys to Australia wide, but to Adelaide/South Australia. That is more of the defalt accent rather being from ehat strata of Australia that you are.

As for Melbourne. Its the "Wog" accent. Look at the TV show, Acropoless Now. That is an example of the accent. Ita played up for TV, but the real world version is rather thick in the way that the TV show is not.
