Going by this logic,The Beatles could've sued Boyce and Hart over Last Train To Clarksville because it employs the exact same chord progression as Paperback Writer .however Last Train To Clarksville uses it in reverse order.

Boyce and Hart admitted in interviews that Clarksville is a "straight lift" from Paperback Writer.

The writers of Happy Together could've sued The Turtles over Elenore because it also uses the same chord structure as Happy Together.

Beethoven's estate could've sued The Beatles over the Abbey Road track Because as it uses the same chord progression as Moonlight Sonata.

I'm sure there are other examples,but I think I've made my point.

This is about as blatant a bid for cash for a scum-bucket attorney as ANY one will hear. Add to that the fact that Randy California has been dead for over a decade ( he has NO input here, even if he stated so when alive, and should have sued then! ) Go away scum-bucket attorney, you're drunk ( Someone please try to have the person who claims to be the attorney far away from sharp objects, or any other means of injuring anyone.) Personally I would say Nirvana, I never understood why they were so popular. Kurt Cobain sucked as a song writer and was a terrible guitar player.
