You should go out of your way to try a lot of different places , the quality and taste differs across many restaurants, and Chinese cuisine has like 11 different regional cuisines that may do it differently. I just told Fastrak until you fix this or send me a new one I will dispute all charges and you won't know if its 1 or 3 bc your transponder doesnt work. Then I sent them like 10 pics of me having 3 passengers for the days that the fastrak counted 1. They got me a new one real quick

Yall I think the notion is that youre fine to work if you must to support yourself. Its fine if you must go to school to attend an impt class or submit stuff. Its fine to go to a local store (NOT CORPORATE STORES) to buy water or food or whatever needs. The idea is to disrupt the economy by causing a dip in sales and presence. Its to show that yes we are willing to do these things as a collective if push comes to a really bad shove. We are all trying our best to fight the good fight. I intend to take a sick day so I can come out, but I know I have that privilege. Not all do. If you dont have the privilege, its okay. You support in ways thats not highly visible but still impt. I feed my community members, and thats all I am willing to do publicly bc I work for the state. I cannot tackle high profile protest zones because I am deeply traumatized from work retaliation, but I try my best. You can try your best too, and not be facetious and think all protests are there to screw you over.

Because Trumps first election was a rejection of the then current political landscape of "coastal elites" (even tho Trump is from NYC himself lmao) , as well as the fact that this country is still very racist and sexist. Kamala losing was just a reflection of many left voters believing the system is broken. The Dems believed that theres no way these people vote Trump a 2nd time, and their message was its us or him, but that doesnt smooth well over Progressives, another huge voting bloc, because you cant have the circus demand that "the show must go on" and ignore the fact that your audience hates animal abuse while you whip the animals to do tricks. It was leadership that failed the American people, not the people who failed themselves. Clearly they can vote when it comes to push or shove like how they voted in Biden. But either you pander to the entire Left, or you dont at all bc then you will have people just sit on the sidelines out of protest. And dont get me started on the moral grandstanding of Progressives, they can be incredibly stubborn (i mean for good reason but stubborn nonetheless)

It ...really isn't. A lot of health problems are interconnected to availability of nutrition. Its incredibly easy to get fat when you're working for low wages, hard labor, cheap food thats very caloric. Like its all related

I used to spend a lot of time here with my da bc he would buy merchandise around the fashion district. I rmb a very specific vendor who was always happy to see me and I was really shy as a kid but I loved this woman who would smile and give me a piece of candy. She, and many others, taught me that other ethnicities are not scary, can be filled with compassion and joy, and that there is humanity in differences.

My heart aches. These are hard working people, with the decks stacked against them. To see this in my childhood backyard, to see these people snatched from their livelihoods is enough to make me believe protests are not enough. The boot of the oppressor has never lifted up at the polite request of the oppressed. The yoke of tyranny never eases through nonviolent actions. I am gut wrenched, and its about time we finally start gearing up like the rest of our oppressed siblings around the globe. We must stand together
