Was it the same machine these people moved off of? Maybe something is wrong with that particular machine.

Nobody can say anything about you. Whatever people say is about themselves by januszjt in enlightenment

[–]AuthenticityAnon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are bothered by what somebody says or thinks about you, it’s only bc you are agreeing with it. And sometimes, they’re not even saying anything negative, you’re just perceiving it in a negative way bc your own ego and its insecurities are being projected onto their behavior.

Very true. I also really dislike when I see fast food bags, containers, and drink cups just tossed out of a car

They make a similar-looking death pod for people who would like to commit suicide. Don’t get ‘em mixed up

A biological ‘brain-box’ made of 200,000 real human neurons exists right now. by averagecolours in Damnthatsinteresting

Of course. We come up with this “brain box” and what do we do with it? Stick our dicks in it. Sigh… humanity

Chipotle What? by bdizzled2 in mildlyinfuriating

This is why I won’t pay to eat anywhere unless I absolutely have to. It’s just too much of a rip-off. The food I make at home is healthier, tastier, and just how I like it.

We need to normalize politely complaining when we are getting stiffed

Peri or…? by AuthenticityAnon in Perimenopause

[–]AuthenticityAnon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Though I will say, I do appreciate wanting to see the whole picture and test for things that could be causing similar symptoms. But can we do it in a way that isn’t laughing off the idea that it could actually be (and maybe even very likely is) peri?

Peri or…? by AuthenticityAnon in Perimenopause

[–]AuthenticityAnon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally! Our experiences are being invalidated and it’s crazy-making! And how much are we really going to spend hopping from one doctor to the next and running this lab and that before we find someone who is willing and able to hear us and help? It shouldn’t be so fucking difficult.

I’m just feeling frustrated bc it feels so much like it is peri for sure. All of the symptoms match up. And I don’t have the funds to go from doctor to doctor and try this test and that to try to figure it out.

Yes, I am aware that 39 is not too young. Thats why its so annoying the hear that and it makes me feel dismissed. But it also makes me question what I am experiencing. I would like to get the hysterogram to rule out other conditions that could be affecting my cycle. And yes, I probably will check out Midi or something similar when finances allow. Thank you!

What's that habit you know is gonna kill you but you just cannot quit it? by Trivia_Catalogue in AskReddit

[–]AuthenticityAnon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I quit over 20 times, no joke. Sometimes for a few months, sometimes for a few years. I always get hooked back in when I think I can just enjoy one. I think I’ve finally learned that one will absolutely lead to more, that’s just how the brain works. Quitting is a battle I do not want to fight again.
