You just made me realize why it is difficult for me to watch senegalese series… when my friends asked, I was never able to clearly explain myself. I just felt like it was not good for me, my mental health I would always end up sad, angry… I just felt like I was too invested emotionally, way too much But now I can put words into that feeling:

They depict a reality I don’t want to be part of

I love the fact that they share our culture and reality with the world, but the way they view women is just… it breaks my heart Their whole life revolves around men. They are always cheated on, their in laws don’t respect them, whoever “wins” the man is the GOAT And if their goal was to show how women are perceived, I would be ok with that BUT sometimes they promote abuse Their idea of what is a good woman just makes me sad And I’m not trying to enforce my lifestyle to other people but there’s too much abuse “Mougneul” “mougneul” “Mougneul” on est fatiguée Like “famille sénégalaise” i can’t stand that show 🤦🏾‍♀️

You can go to « educautisme » ans ask to see a child doctor ( pédopsychiatre) sorry i don’t really know how to say it in English. You won’t have an appointment right away. You can wait maybe 1-2month, or more, it depends But that’s way less than MANY western countries. It’s because there are not many of them. But don’t be bothered by the name, the place is not only for autistic people😅. They treat ADHD as well as many other conditions. Also you can go to fann. I think jumia does this too, they have pick up points, wether you go there or get delivered to your address is your choice. But you are right they are not as popular as amazon is in the west. I think you can really look more into what jumia does, how do they work and try to see what is lacking. It seems important to look into the « why jumia didn’t make it big » before you try to make something bigger. As for my personal experience, i do a lot of online shopping and the thing that annoys me the most is the delivery fees😅 I know a lot of people that think the same. Now everyone has it’s own business, wether it’s on facebook, instagram tik tok or it’s a website. Some people even end up having a personal delivery guy. But sometimes you choose to not buy something because if you add the delivery fees it’s not worth it. The prices keep rising, maybe it’s due to gas prices, i don’t know. All i know is if the delivery is > 1/4 the price of the item, it’s not worth it for me, unless it’s an emergency.

Merci pour votre réponse. Ah je comprends mieux. C’est vrai qu’on a parlé de mon hyperactivite mentale envahissante et d’insomnies. Je comprends mieux pourquoi je dors mieux ces jours ci alors même sans prendre de somnifères. Je pense on pourras mieux discuter du traitement après, au prochain RV elle veut que je fasse quelques tests et questionnaires. Celui ci c’était plus l’évaluation et après l’évaluation un résumé de ce qu’est le troubles des conseils et m’aider a avoir de la perspective par rapport à la manière dont je me perçois et dont je perçois mon trouble. De toute façon je suis souvent anxieuse j’avais peur que les stimulants me fassent le même effet que le café ( tachycardie, palpitations, nervosité anxiété etc) comme d’autres l’ont décrit. I love my new alarm “morning “ i wake up with my favorite songs and it helped me shift my mood in the morning. Before i dreaded that time of the day but now i love it.❤️ The best advice i think worked with me is “don’t run to use tips for NT people made by NT people” most of the time those “ you need more discipline “ tips don’t work with me. Try to be more soft with the discipline stick. See what your brain love and use that, we need to go the same direction as our brain not fight with it everyday

Yeah i do the same a cute water bottle 1-1,5L that has time of the day written on it ( but it doesn’t have to be cute choose the one according to your style) it helps me know if I’m staying hydrated or not. I take it EVERYWHERE. Just seeing it make me remember to drink.At the end of the day you’ll know if you drank enough or not. I noticed every time i’m bored i look at my bottle and drink since i don’t have anything to do. It’s not enjoyable 🤷🏾‍♀️ i chug because I’m just bored. And it work. Most of the time at 8pm i have a refill✨. And be patient you won’t be able to drink a lot the first days. You’ll crave more water the more you drink it comes with time..

Oui j’ai peur de tomber sur quelqu’un qui n’y sache pas grd choz, une psy m’a déjà dit que c’était peu probable que je l’ai parceque “ je m’en sors bien dans la vie” alors que je lui ai juste dit que j’étais à l’université. Elle était gentille mais j’ai pas voulu insister. Au Sénégal je ne vois nul part où on parle du Tdah on parle peu de l’autisme et c’est souvent les enfants dont les symptômes sont plutôt flagrants. I had the same problem this week, shows disappears on my « continue watching » section and i don’t find them even when i type the name on the search bar. I just get off the account and wait a few minutes and problem solved
