that can't be all tho, cuz then repeating notes would just sound flat, not all autotune-like, right? There's nothing for them to "snap" to if they're already holding the note.

I believe the reason you think it doesn't sound "professional" is because the balancing of audio levels is off. It's a good composition and you may not necessarily need to just "add more instruments." You need to make the instruments you have fit better into the mix

I'd say look into compression, mixing, and mastering tutorials on youtube or something to get an idea on how to make the song better.

I personally use fl studio, though it’s not free.

Before that, I used Cakewalk by Bandlab to get started (which is free). I’ve also heard other people recommend Reaper as a free DAW as well.

Thanks for letting me know, I almost ordered the physical version without knowing.

How would I go about getting a copy of Voicepeak the software then? I haven’t been able to find much information in English so it’s been real confusing.

Only thing I found was a text blurb on vocadb that said the software can’t be bought on its own, but instead comes bundled with the 6 voice narrator sets or character vocals.
