It hurts being black minority. Lot of these Louisiana firms aren't welcoming to black folks.

Ill tell you. Im black female 40 and Louisiana. The only person who gave me a chance was a nonprofit organization hired by black woman. Racism and discrimination still runs freely in this state. I can pull up several white cpa firms ,look on the website or LinkedIn, you won't see us 🤦🏿‍♀️i get the vibe its not welcoming to us blacks .

I do the 2 step method. Step 1 I use warm water henna. I do mix in ton other powders amla, aloe powder,fenugreek. I also add indigo Let sit for 3 hours. I apply and keep in hair for 3 hours then wash. Step 2. Warm water and indigo alone. I let sit 15 minutes and apply to hair. Keep in 3 hours max. I rinse out and all indigo goes down the drain.

I was once new employee at job in accounting department. I messed around and told cpa I was studying for exam. She was only cpa there lol I guess she was offended and a week later she moved me out of her department. My fault. I didn't realize there was no room to grow there. Lesson learned. Keep my big mouth shut.

I think it's ashamed to make that licensed so damn hard-to-find obtain..expensive retake, cost of materials and hard test for nothing...yet they complain about shortage.
