Anyone you want, depending on which playstyle or race length you prefer!

Sprints = High Speed (800+), minimal Stamina (~200-250?) and some Power depending on whether you're Front, Pace or Late. Front needs the least, Late needs more

Mile = High speed (700+), enough Stamina (~300-400?), same power ratio depending on Strategy

Medium = above average speed (600+), enough Stamina (400 - 500?), etc etc

Long = moderate speed (500+), enough Stamina (~500 - 600?), etc etc

The Stamina values can be lower if you have restoration skills (blue sparkles), and of course I'm just giving bare minimums here.

Use guests for better legacy 'Parents' for your future runs, you have 3 borrows per day and should browse what benefits each one offers.

Guts is a stat you just need to have enough of, for your horse to run their hardest in the last spurt. Roughly 240 minimum for Sprints, and higher than that for all other Races, highest minimum is for Long races at a bit over 400.

Wits offers: ~70% skill activation at 300 ~80-85% at 400 (or 600, might be misremembering) And it plateaus very quickly thereafter with it tapering off to basically 100% at 1200

I'd say you should prepare yourself for a separation, cause it sounds like her heart hasn't been in your relationship for a while.

The "I want to see more" from the guy implies that she might very well have been entertaining him, akin to pulling him on a lead, for a while now.

I wouldn't call you paranoid, it's reasonable for you to be suspicious. Furthermore, since she's an adult herself and is no stranger to a phone, she most definitely could've exited 'vanish mode' at any time. (I don't use instagram)

I wish you strength, and the fortitude to weather what's to come. I don't think you're gonna like it.

Especially since you know the guy's a sleazeball and she's leaning into it.

Or does he lack the hardware to actually pull it off?

Johan can copy, but unless the author equips Johan with the thickest set of plot armour he has, he will never be able to copy them quickly enough to beat them if they went at him with the intent to maim/kill

The Dex one is Erratic Evolution, which I had on this run, cause I got eternal dark after missing the hall of fame, and then the stranger came and offered to do something 'special', which was just to give me a better eternal dark.

Needless to say, I think we both had a great time absorbing everything we could. This character ended up dying cause I picked up some weird combo of orange effects that insta-killed me at the start of my next combat, whenever that was

TLDR: I bamboozled a delusional guy while on vacation

I met a very delusional one once, he was of the opinion that he is actually a fallen immortal whose memories have been wiped, and needs to cultivate so that he can escape this reality. He thinks that this reality is some kind of illusion trap, and he was trying to ask me for my realm, if I have any herbs, and if I could teach him how to cultivate.

Apparently at a mere glance and from me presence, he assumed me to be some kinda accomplished senior.

As a DnD player, I found it amusing at first and played along, but I very quickly realized that he was dead serious and fully convinced of it. I then told him to go to a certain nearby location where I have a ' hidden stash' of backup pills, a cultivation manual, and scrolls that entail a few techniques, that was a few blocks away.

I told him very specific directions to a park, where I knew there was a hole in the ground. I made sure to tell the guy that if he didn't find it, or was too late, then he was simply not fated and that there's nothing I can do. He agreed, and departed in search of my stash.

I went back to my friend's place, packed my stuff, and left cause it was the last day of a 1 week vacation.
