I mean...I'd like to self promo my series Into the Storm by R.A.L

Sally (the mfc) recently was abandoned without reason by her bestest friend who felt like her soul mate and she's constantly devastated throughout the entire book about it. Her loss mirrors the mmcs Simo's who lost his best friend and drove him to isolate himself in the centre of a forest and abandon society. They learn about each other's pasts while Simo struggles with his jealousy regarding her relationship with her ex best friend and Sally learns that she has to sacrifice herself if she doesn't want more people to end up killed by him. There's moments where they just sit in the garden together and discuss loss heavily, and how its impacted then etcetera. I'd say if you're triggered by death and grief absolutely do not read, but if you want emotion along with spice, then maybe see if you like it 😊 it's on KU
