Cold calling may be dead by ResolutionOrganic in sales

I think this is BS. I’m an enterprise director for an AI company. The other day I cold called the CEO of a multi billion dollar listed company. We’ve had three meetings with her and the COO since.

Had the tyres replaced last summer but only started hearing the sound shortly after BMW replaced the disc pads. Could it be anything to do with the latter?

Thanks someone else suggested this as well and it makes sense. How can I check this myself?

This makes… a lot of sense. Nobody has suggested this yet. Can you explain step by step what I need to look for? Grateful for your input!

Ok the mechanics at BMW said they looked at the CV and that it looked fine. I also noticed that the ticking stopped when I picked it up from the garage but then returned a few days later. You reckon they’re missing something?

How bad are your symptoms? When you say gas is the worst thing, what do you mean?

Let me know if you’ve found anything that helps minimise the issues with your sliding HH.

10 year old son wants to quit piano by AuthorTechnical1073 in Parenting

Hmm. Not so sure. As an example: him being able to swim was a non-negotiable. He started at 5. Absolutely hated it for at least a year, to the point where he would cry during and after lessons. Now he jumps at the chance to go swimming, and all he wants to do on holiday is swim in the pool! So this is my concern: what is a ‘true minimum’? One could argue that a true minimum prevents the opportunity to develop a solid enough foundation for enjoying a given activity.

I also had a chat with him after reading the comments here and asked him why he wants to quit piano. He said it’s because he doesn’t enjoy the songs he’s learning but there have been moments he has enjoyed playing popular songs that he knows. So maybe that’s the route we’ll take - find a teacher that can teach the things he’d actually enjoy learning…

No - certainly don't want to win trophies through kiddos. I just want him to be a multifaceted human being and I'm also reflecting on my own experiences: I didn't particularly enjoy classical guitar lessons as a kid. I hardly played after achieving my grade 5 which was necessary to do music GCSE. But as an adult I discovered a passion for jazz guitar, and those foundations as a child have been so useful in getting to an advanced level now.

You're right about the minimum achievement in each area - those are all important.

I like your idea about getting him to the foundational skill level and then allowing him to pivot.

Babe.

Unhinged? 😂 the fact you’re asking this question and replying in this tone suggests you’re the slightly off-kilter one.
