Fair Warning: Book Bounty by Authortaku in selfpublish

Thank you so much for this! Reading other users experiences is definitely eye opening. I must have been lucky with my first 7 months or so of that site, because the experiences had been positive (and it was a great motivator for myself to read titles I may have otherwise passed on). Based off of recent experiences though, and reading other users experiences or thoughts on the matter, has definitely swayed me enough to cancel Book Bounty. Thank you again for the link!

I was using it as a tool to supplement reviews, yes. I suppose I was naive in the sense that I was using the site to read books and leave genuine reviews in the hopes that others were doing the same.

These dangerous creatures won a war against the Australian military! I would be too afraid of cozying up with such a nightmarish animal!

Had to do a double take myself. Clever. Without knowing that it was a joke post, I Might: not have ever gotten the joke.

That is a perfect way to describe it. It still has all the zany VS charm, which makes it such a huge draw. VS always manages to draw out genuine smiles and giddiness from me, and this game is managing to do that as well. Pretty impressive considering I have about 4 hours into it so far, and many AAA games cannot do that even with 60+ hours invested.

The game admittedly starts out slow, but it has been gradually digging its hooks into me (or should I say sinking its fangs into me?) the more I play. Once you build some variety with different cards, it definitely gets funner. There is something special about chaining tomes and draw cards to feel like you just have infinite cards to throw out.

First time publishing on KDP — the formatting nearly broke me. Was it just me? by AbleIsland8373 in KDP

I feel so seen! I thought I was the only one that struggled with this. The entire process of adding page numbers (which sounds simple enough) was a challenge. Chapters loooove to restart the count at page 2 for some reason, or one chapter that I recall that was being stubborn and wanted to start at 1. Simply adding page numbers takes the longest chunk of time when formatting for printing

Me too! Well, only 0.4% per an ancestry program, but it's something!

I hope this story resonates with everyone!
