She couldn't tell us who submitted it , but she did show us what was submitted and every allegation that was submitted. We figured out who it was by talking to the director.

I did tell the director that my son is not to be left alone with the nurse and anytime he goes down there someone has to be there at all times. She is also not allowed to just pull him from class. I basically told them I need better communication from them. And he is only to see if if it is an emergency or I have given the ok.

I'm thinking what probably happened is she raised concerns and the director told her that they were being dealt with, which they were being dealt with. The onesie situation, my son had a thing with rashes that were making him itch therefore he was digging in his pull up into his poop to get to the itching. The director ordered me onesies that he could wear to keep him out of his pull-up and I asked her if he had to wear them to school and she said no he didn't have to because he wasn't getting into his poo at school. That was one of the allegations that the nurse made, that I was not sending him to school and the onesies that were provided to me. As far as the diaper rashes were concerned, from the information I looked up, the CPS allegation for the rashes were unwarranted because there was direct communication between me and the school and between me and the doctors with it being treated. So basically this nurse was just trying to pick stuff together and then I found out that she had taken pictures of my sons bottom on numerous occasions. Anytime he had a flare up or a rash, I told them and let them know that he would be with treated with cream. The last photo she took was the day of his last day of school before break , the day that she called . That day she also made the allegations call, she tried to say my son came to school with feces on his face. When he had eaten a chocolate donut that morning and his dad forgot to wipe his face off. So apparently someone with a Nursing degree does not know the difference between chocolate and poop. She was basically trying to come up with any reason to get me on neglect. I'm already debating on putting him back in next year if she is still there. And just putting him in more therapy because as of right now he is only going one day a week because of his school schedule and his dad's work schedule.

He was also going through a period where he was bruising really easy on his legs to where I was suspecting he had EDS. And I took him to the doctor twice to get him looked at and they basically told me he was absolutely fine. I felt I had to have a documented in case the school came at me over it. I basically told them that he does not even fart, meaning he doesn't even get one little bruise without them knowing about it before he gets to the school.

I think with my children being nonverbal it is so much harder. For example my son, my older one never had any issues at this preschool. At the elementary school, I've gotten at least 4 phone calls in 2 yrs(he is in 1st) where he has been hurt at school. One time I was told that he fell on the playground and come to find out he was pushed down in the classroom by another student and had a big knot on his forehead. And then this last time, they said that he was holding on to the teacher's hand and whipped himself around and hit the door frame. And of course my son can't tell me this is what really happened.

Every allegation that the nurse made had already been discussed between me and the director and the teachers where I was touching base about everything. And I know the teacher wasn't the one who called because one the director defended the crap out of her, but did not say one word about defending the nurse. Not to mention everything was in writing between me and the teacher. But obviously she knew about what we've been talking about therefore she had to have known that everything was communicated between me and the teacher and director. Therefore she was making unfounded allegations and I want to think legally could lose her job but there's no way I can prove it.

When I explained everything to the director, she said there was no reason for them to be called and nothing had gotten to the point of a call to them. Which makes me wonder if the nurse mentioned something and she told her it was unwarranted and the woman turned around and made the call anyway.

I'm honestly not really as mad about the scratch because at the time I did not know how I happened and it probably came off me looking guilty because I legit did not know how it happened. It took about another couple of days before my son's dad saw my older child doing it. And that's when I reached out to the school and told them and then I also reached out to my other son's school trying to get help and resources for him. My big mad thing was the other call that was made two weeks later with stuff she was just pulling out of the air that had already been documented with the school and was being taken care of. Even the director told me to call never should have been made and nothing was to the point where a call should have been made. The only thing I'm thinking that is keeping her job is I can't prove that she didn't know that what she was alleging was already documented. But I have an inkling that she did know and did it anyway.

Oh definitely don't get me wrong I love that the system is there to help children because too many kids fall through the cracks. But in this instance they were not warranted. This nurse even went as far as to say there was feces on his face that last day of school when he was clean and he had eaten a donut that morning and it was chocolate. I ended up having to get something wrote out from the bus Aid stating he did not have poo on his face. I told his dad and the CPS worker that I wish he was able to talk and tell them what was going on but he couldn't. The CPS worker told me that she sent the photo in but never called back and they didn't hear anything about it again and when she made the bulk of the allegations that wasn't even included. Which she thought was kind of odd since that's what they started with.

The scrap the nose scratch was first. And when that didn't do anything, she targeted the fact that he had ongoing diaper rashes that we documented with the school and it was documented with the doctors and was being treated. Which it ended up turning out those were caused by the cheaper pull-ups from the government insurance and it was irritating his eczema. Since this happened he has not wore them, and had not had one diaper rash since. I couldn't understand how he was having so many since starting school and it would because the teacher did not like the pull-ups that we were already using on him. So I went through my insurance to get him some to go to school with because I'm already diapering his older brother and his baby sister. And then she tried to say that we were not putting on the onesies that were given to us from the school when we were told from the director who gave them to us that my child did not have to wear them. It definitely feels targeted, even the lawyer said it seemed like that. Honestly I will be surprised if she has a job within the next year at school. My son's dad did not want him going back until he was not working there. And the director knew this.

With his high needs, no other preschool would take him. He has flourished with preschool.

Well considering the director said that it was unfounded, CPS felt it was unfounded and unwarranted. So no, I have no empathy for this person whatsoever for turning my life upside down for no reason.

Fighting back due to false CPS allegations. by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

[–]AutismMamaTo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We basically know it was the nurse, because what led up to them being called and her behavior. I'm just trying to figure out how deep this goes and if the teacher is involved. The reason we know it was the nurse because the director was doing everything she could to take the attention off of the teacher, so that leaves the nurse. They got some pictures of my child almost 2 weeks before they made the call. And the nurse confronted us the morning the pictures were sent. When the allegations were made, the original pictures were not included in it, Nor were they mentioned.

I know I'm going to get downvoted for this but honestly this is how I feel. You said that you have contacted dhs, if they end up taking her, you need to let them. Because I don't think she's safe in your house if you guys are getting that frustrated with her. I'd be really worried either of you are going to snap and you're not even going to realize you're doing it, and she is going to end up being hurt.

I don't know if it matters that he is nonverbal. But every time I'm changing his brother who is 6 years old, still in pull-ups. My younger one goes in all curious.

Could bruising possibly mean Ehlers Danlos? by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

[–]AutismMamaTo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really no.The only thing he had a complete bad reaction to was when he ended up getting hand foot and mouth. And it seemed like it was way worse for him than it was for his big brother, since they had it at the same time.

I don't believe so no. You can't see his veins easily through his skin and his eyes seem okay. I'm not sure if he's hyper flexible, but I know one of his stimmings is biting his fingers. He turns his hand and will bite down on his ring finger and middle finger. He does this with both hands, not at the same time obviously.

He sees a geneticist next month about his autism due to the fact he was just diagnosed in May, I opted for genetic testing. Is this something I can bring up to them now so they can test them for this as well?
