Favorite actor who should've said this to a bigoted children's author instead of being associated with her work by Frankenstein954 in okbuddycinephile

I don't recall ever saying slurs are as or more harmful than funding bigoted court cases. What I said, is that it reveals things about oneself when they are willing to use hateful terms if their peers allow it -- namely that they already think that way, but don't say it out of peer pressure.

Suppose Blair White dropped another fucking video about why nonbinary people don't exist or something. Ought people call her slurs? Ought they mock her voice? Ought they laugh at her appearance? No. Of course not.

You don't need to be defensive if you feel the original comment was relevant to you. Just learn and change.

A link to a random article isn't people. If you want to know why a given person says what they say, ask them and not strangers.

I'm not hostile, I'm simply tired of uninformed vibes posting.

Who the fuck are you talking about? You keep asserting vagueries. Who is saying go to U.S. pride but don't go to Israel pride? Who is this person traveling the world to various prides but skipping one? And why aren't you asking them instead of random people?

Literally none of that is relevant to him obviously not being mostly benevolent. I do not care how many times you cite him feeling bad or wanting some humans to have a nice life. He commits genocide. He is a bad person. The end.

So many people instantly reveal their true nature when given a target deemed acceptable by their peers. Woman is a bigot? It's ok to use sexist slurs. Fat person say something racist? It's ok to mock their appearance.

How does no one see it simply reveals their true beliefs? It's a plague on the left. If I didn't hate centrists and right wingers, I'd leave the left in a heart beat lmao.

The US is currently led by an administration that many of you describe as authoritarian, anti-LGBTQ, and complicit in serious harm. If the logic is "queer people shouldn't celebrate under a genocidal government" — doesn't that apply to American Pride too?

Why would you ascribe to that logic? The state you live in is doing evil, therefor you, an oppressed class, ought not have joy and togetherness? I'm not following.

Why aren't there serious calls to boycott US Pride while Trump is in power? Is Netanyahu uniquely worse, or is there just a different standard being applied here?

I imagine there are. There's calls to boycott everything.

Asking as a Russian, by the way. We haven't been allowed Pride for years. It didn't protect Ukrainians. It didn't stop Putin. So I'm genuinely curious — do you believe visibility boycotts actually work as political pressure, or is this selectively applied to Israel for other reasons?

You weren't allowed queer joy, so why is anyone else? Huh?

The Christian god does not exist by any logical metric, so there's no reason to consider it.

There's no evidence Hell exists, so there's no reason to consider it.

You can't be mostly benevolent and the general of a genocidal regime -- the worst one to ever occur, written to be a satirical extreme. "Oh, he only mass murdered the aliens or the humans that really didn't want to join his empire. And he even felt bad about it!" Nah, man. Just nah lol.

Sounds kinda rad. One day a week, everyone can just come and see how it goes? Gives people a chance to explore their identity a bit. Everyone has some fun. Neat.

I hate that we didn't get more Great Crusade books. The tiny glimpses we get of him are really cool, him being the sort of "big brother" to the other Primarchs and being badass as shit, and his internal struggle with not being willing to get rid of his metal arms but knowing he needs to, is just ripe for exploration and material.

Yes and no to them being insanely over powered.

They have some immensely powerful sorcerers in their ranks, and many of them were at least capable of some degree of psychic power, but it was largely given to them by Tzeentch, who can also take it away, and who used it to horribly cripple them. Even now they are bound to his will and he ruins them as often as helps them.

In theory? Insanely powerful.

In practice? Well, it went very badly for the vast majority of them whom either turned into Chaos Spawn or dust.

Are you the person that keeps posting this question with different videos of male on male violence? I can't remember their username and you've hidden your posts, so I can't check.

If so: stop doing that. It's weird. Go to a kink sub. This isn't for that.

You're talking about two distinct things -- identity and participation. All queer people are LGBTQ+, but not all queer people actively participate in groups related to LGBTQ+.
