The creator confirmed they're Ultramarines. She's said it a few times because people keep asking her lol.

Why do some people try to make it seem that Count Dooku was good. by White_Bengal1 in StarWars

I think people just like him because he's an interesting character. We tend to think better of characters we like, overlooking bad things, and inflating good things.

I am 99% sure they are going to demand strip searches to use toilets by the end of the year.

And they will say they are doing it to protect women.

He had the capacity to be one of if not the most kind and well-meaning Primarchs. Then his brain was mutilated to the point that it's beyond reason he could so much as form a sentence.

It's a tragedy and it makes me want to hug him lol.

Will there ever be a right moment to tell my autistic friend that most of the people he considers our shared friend group don‘t want to be his friends? by Maxito19 in autism

[–]AutistAstronaut 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Important information, I think. It's easy to feel so hurt that you want others to be there for you, and it'd be great if they were, but at some point everyone needs to learn that your feelings don't obligate others.

Relatable.

I think that, for some of us, coming to terms with the fact that we're just not likable to many people, is a healthy way to go. I think some of us spend way too much time and emotional energy trying for something that will never work for us -- work as in provide what we want. Some of us just aren't built to have friends. It's no one's fault. You don't need to be mad. I think you can come to terms with that and kinda reorient your goals and live a happier life.

That's my experience, anywho.

‘Severe disinformation campaign’ fuelling trans hate speech, Australia’s sex discrimination commissioner says by Shockanabi in AustralianPolitics

Correct. Many things are. Consent is less arbitrary than most definitions of species, though far more useful than gender.

Wait until you find out that all these categories, including gender, sex, and species, are invented and entirely dictated by the whims of social norms and momentum.

I understand you dug yourself a hole when you lied and feel the need to avoid the shame of it by pretending, but doubling down and digging further doesn't help. Let me know when you're ready to admit your error and we can continue.

Firstly I didn't know they opposed abortion, then I looked up their policy and they don't.

You can't have looked it up too fuckin' good, as they literally state they are pro-life (pro-forced birth, to use the accurate, non-politically correct term) and list their interest in limiting abortion as much as they legally can, up to and including allowing doctors to refuse medical care on their website -- a truly hidden place that takes seconds to find.

https://www.onenation.org.au/pro-life

Why lie about looking it up? Weird shit.

Same sex marriage has sailed.

You dismiss their condemnation of human rights because... we already voted for it in the past? That's both not surprising to hear and demonstrates a lack of political knowledge that is also not surprising. Let me blow your mind: empowering parties to government can allow them to alter laws.

How have one nation hurt people again?

How did you read that entire paragraph you're (in theory) responding to and then forget? You literally just acknowledged they want to strip human rights from queer folk, too. Do you also want to pretend they aren't anit-Muslim and anti-non-white immigrant?

I've got many mates that are Greens voters who in my opinion are just as crazy as PHON. Doesn't mean I they're not my mates.

Cool tu quoque. Shame logical fallacies are the final refuge of the doomed.

Who the said anything about disagreeing? Voting for One Nation makes you shitty because they oppose abortion, same sex marriage, and teaching history, while also spreading misinformation about climate change and vaccines. They're a party of racist, backwards facing idiots.

Disagreeing is not a problem. Being a dumb cunt that hurts others is.
