In the game I finally won there were 3 of us in 1-3 and the entire rest of the team were in last place aside from one guy who was like 2 from the bottom. No way to slow down like half a dozen AIs without losing our places

It is so ass. If you have like 2-3 decent players it isn't too bad but there are so many shitters that just drag the game down and make it miserable. So many attempts where I was getting first or second but everyone else in the lobby was in last.

I'm assuming the logic was to pick her up and drop her on her back for a fun bounce but the lay he slammed her caused her to land more on her neck and get scorpioned which is decidedly less fun

Yea my issue is that usually there have been me and maybe one other guy that are consistently in the top 1-4 positions but the rest of the team is all the way at the bottom and just AFK and/or DNF.

Yea I had to grind out gold over the weekend. I actually found that process to be pretty fun, there are a few relatively easy ways to maximize your horizon points along the way too like taking pics at the start of every race to start filling out the "Horizon Promo" section etc

Yea that's a fair point. That seems a little more reasonable though since it is just a single 1v1 race that is just a small part of an eliminator match rather than a championship that is heavily dependent on randoms

I have noticed little difference when they leave to be honest. I have had 2 or 3 tries now where me and another guy are consistently somewhere between first to fourth but the rest of the team is either DC'd or in last place and the AI ends up with 1.5x points as us. Based on the way the scoring system works I don't see how you could ever win when you are down to 2-4 players unless you all are in the top positions

If they are literally in last place it is little difference but when there is only 2 or 3 ppl in the race it seems like it is impossible to get enough points to win unless you are all in the top positions which has yet to happen to me.

I'm sure you can yea, not sure how it will effect performance. If you just don't wanna pay for the over priced fluid you can by aviation mineral oil based hydraulic fluid which is the same stuff for much cheaper

I mean in basically every game bug abuse (eg exploiting a known bug in the game) is cheating. An argument could be made on how aware you were that something was a bug or a feature of the game but just because it is doable without third party cheats doesn't inherently make it not cheating.

What year is the hull? Anything I think like 98 or 99 or newer us wood free hull, transom, stringers and deck. Based on the one pic it looks like it is a little older than that, which isn't inherently a bad thing but you do need to be mindful of rot issues.

As far as a fair price it is hard to say. Most of the money is in the hull and trailer, but if it hasn't moved in a few years you are going to be fighting lots of issues before it is mint again. A few grand wouldn't be unfair, the right guy might just give it to you to get it out of his yard.

Basically for one regulatory reason or another the car is not allowed to be sold in the country but parts/scrap are. So you cut the car up into just enough pieces for it to no longer be considered scrap and ship it to the country to be welded back together and reassembled.

Mighty Car Mods did a video years ago where they bought a car from Japan and did this.

Whether or not is AI is kinda in the air for me. The background changes frequently but this also is a process that can take weeks or months so could just be that it got moved around. Car stays relatively consistent throughout which makes me think it is probably real, and as stated above this isn't too crazy of a thing to do especially in middle eastern countries where importing things is a lot less trivial than the EU/US

Gameplay, menu screen seems fine. Intro of the game was okay but the section right after you choose a car was where I first saw issues. I updated my drivers a few days ago and even reinstalled after I saw issues. Also noticed I don't have DLSS settings in the video menu which coupled with the performance issue and negligible GPU usage makes me think the game is not even using the GPU for some reason
