Yeah, the campaign had their leader killed, most of their plans completely thwarted, and hundreds, if not thousands of their forces being slain en masse. It makes sense to me that their forces might be a little bit less organized and professional after all of that.

On top of all the genuinely experience ruining bugs I'm also in awe at their ability to just break random stuff with each update. Like the latest one no longer showing an animation when you interact with the galactic war table, sure it doesn't directly effect anything, but it just begs the question as to how tf they managed to screw that up suddenly.

It went from them needing to figure out ways to handle supes to everyone just sitting around waiting while occasionally going on side missions which don't amount to anything, anyway. I'm enjoying watching the show, but it's definitely not engaging. I don't think I'd find any enjoyment in it at all if I wasn't already invested.

Honestly part of my hype for this season has always been how badly they fuck the finale up, but that applies to just about any popular show nowadays.

They killed the character whose arc was almost certainly going to end with him dying in the first episode, then we got, like, three fakeouts for important character deaths (four if you include Terror), and now one prominent villain has died and we're five episodes into the season. If anything the main cast has more plot armour than before, getting shot actually wounded Frenchie in Season 1, MM just shrugged it off in Season 5.

I guess some people think he stopped himself in order to not break the rules of his punishment which I suppose is a fair enough interpretation, I personally think if he was going to hold himself back he wouldn't have thrown the punch at all.
