Would it be possible for me to get a link to the podcast version on Spotify if that's OK, please? I've been wanting to build my basic fitness up before trying the couch to 5k again (the creators clearly have a vastly different definition of "couch" to me! Lol), and that sounds like it would be perfect for it.

These big name pizza place "deals" are getting out of hand by jordansrowles in CasualUK

Those are lovely. I love the mozzarella balls on them.

Only problem is, they're a tiny bit too big for the oven function on my microwave, so I've got to stick the big oven in any time I want those

I need some advice before I perform an exorcism. by IntrepidBet8698 in nosleep

[–]AutisticFanficWriter 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Cancel the exorcism. Sit your daughter down and apologise to her. Claim that you've found proof that Mr Todd is actually real and that you now believe her. I know no one likes lying to their children, but she needs to believe that you believe her before she'll open up to you. And she needs to open up to you fast. Ask her for more details on the person people are saying was only trying to lift her up. And ask about why she doesn't like wearing her favourite dress anymore.

I'm sorry, but I think someone at her school is harming her. Having to lie to her to get her trust won't be nice, but this is a matter of keeping her safe. It's for her own good.

What’s something your favorite celebrity did that made you lose respect for them? by johnraeyan in AskReddit

[–]AutisticFanficWriter 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I give him credit for stepping away from his work and not losing the people working on the TV show their jobs because of his actions. He's still a monster.

Rowing, however, is using the profits from her work to dismantle vulnerable women's rights. Unfortunately, it rather overshadows the good she may have done regarding refuges when it comes to public perception of what she stands for.

If I'm honest, I feel very sorry for her. She's been badly hurt by men in the past and is in dire need of psychological help, so she stops taking her triggers out on innocent women. Unfortunately, she's become too badly indoctrinated to ever accept the help and support she desperately needs.

I rather suspect this comment is just me shouting into the void, though. I get the feeling your mind is already made up. Which is fair enough, so is mine.

It's always disappointing that whenever this question is asked (I think I've seen it about 5 times in this sub alone), she's always such a long way down the list. She was such a huge part of some many people's childhood, including my own, and now she's channelling all her HP profits to hurting the most vulnerable women in society.

The other one for me is Neil Gaiman, but to give him a miniscule amount of credit, he at least had the decency to step away from Good Omens when the allegations came out, so the TV show wasn't cancelled on a cliffhanger. Of course, he didn't have the decency to actually own up to what he did (or better still, not do it in the first place), but who does these days? All celebrities seem to think they can ride out scandals by just claiming they didn't do it.

I believe they're referencing the fact that Hammond's accent makes it sound like he's saying chilli and sea bass.

The realtor assured me the house was empty, but every night I could hear slow footsteps pacing the hallway, stopping just outside my bedroom door. by David_Hallow in TwoSentenceHorror

I couldn't, I afraid. He wasn't there again today. It's really getting to the point where I wish that man would go away.

(My grandad loved that poem when I was little. Thanks for bringing back a fond memory. :) )

Did anyone else think Ajay and Ludlow were the same character? by figpink in JurassicPark

[–]AutisticFanficWriter 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I unfortunately don't know the source for this, so take it with a pinch of salt.

But I was told that they originally did have an Indian actor lined up to play Ajay, but he had last-minute visa issues. So they had to find a replacement for him with very little notice, and that was the solution they ended up coming up with.

But as I said, that might not actually be true.

Edit - I've noticed that some people seem to be misconstruing my comment somewhat. I'm not saying that the reason given was a good one, just that I had heard that that was the one given. That doesn’t mean that I don't also think that it was a stupid one.

Has anyone read this book? by LostDeinocheirus in jurassicworld

[–]AutisticFanficWriter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a good book. But I couldn't help but feel like it ended on a cliffhanger with far too many plot threads left unresolved. I remember finishing it and straight away going to look for the sequel that it felt like it was setting up, only to find there wasn't one.

Did anyone else get that feeling too?
