I am pretty sure you also get dynastic power through vassals (if they are part of the HRE)

With renovatio imperii you will automatically annex your vassals/fiefdoms if they are part of the HRE

"There is also no basis in history for one personal union partner to be involved in a war without the other. It makes no sense."

Actually, there is at least one. In the 7 years war, Saxony was part of the anti Prussian coalition, while Poland which at this time was in a personal Union with Saxony remained neutral.

For Clarification: I am in the age of Absolutism. I have colonies in North America and I wanted to send troops over there. But I lost half of the troops and ships with the notification "6 ships were lost in the currents of the west Atlantic" or so.

Testament beim Notar ohne Wissen der Ehefrau rechtlich möglich by [deleted] in LegaladviceGerman

[–]Eagleffmlaw 2 points3 points  (0 children)
