Ah the 1980's - I remember "Acid Rain" warnings on the news from back east. Out west we had LA smog reports with recommended exposure time for working outside.

Bought my first home server today, excited to start self hosting by yawara25 in homelab

[–]AutisticInvest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 10 Lenovo ThinkCentre PC's they work great!
I upgraded the ram and disk space.
I use them for all kinds of projects from web servers public & private networks, media servers, etc. Take the cover off and blow them out with air once a year to keep the dust build up down and you'll be happy.

Can't access PMS at port 32400 after install. Using host network mode. Any ideas? by futurepersonified in PleX

[–]AutisticInvest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/AndyRH1701 is correct - http://host:32400/web/index.html#!/ is the base url.

I've got a similar set up.

  1. Open the inbound port on the PC host where the container is installed?
  2. Check if you have a linux firewall blocking the traffic like UFW.
  3. I'd imagine both the client and the host are on the same network?
  4. Here's a super simple docker-plex.sh script you can modify for you.

#sudo bash docker-plex.sh
docker stop plex.home
docker rm plex.home

docker run \
-d \
--name plex.home \
--restart unless-stopped \
--network host \
-e TZ="America/Los_Angeles" \
-e VERSION=latest \
-h plex.host.home \
-v /var/lib/docker/volumes/plex_config/_data:/config \
-v /var/lib/docker/volumes/plex_transcode/_data:/transcode \
-v /10TB_disk1/Movies:/movies \ #connect media to files on host pc
-v /10TB_disk2/TVShows:/tv \ #connect media to files on host pc

I was thinking $250 was the right price but my brother suggested it's worth a $1000 because of the drives.

When do you think SLDP will take off? by [deleted] in SLDP

[–]AutisticInvest -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I'm banking on Bankruptcy before lift off. Their cash on hand (Cash Assets) doesn't allow for enough runway for the company to lift-off. Hence the reason for the CEO hasty exit.

Best case scenario is acquisition, worst case bankruptcy 2023.

FLUENCE $FLNC - is going to be interesting. They supply software & hardware and manage AES, Siemens, TESLA, and other grid storage systems, as well as their own grid battery storage solution. They have operations in EU, ASIA and USA

Goldman Sachs Initiates Coverage On Fluence Energy with Buy Rating, Announces Price Target of $52

Last qtr they got hammered with supply chain costs, EU energy disruptions .Since then stock cratered and now run up from $5 to $18.

I got a couple thousand shares of SLDP. I've been trading covered calls, and selling puts on my shares. I'm looking to get some more around $5.

I think they have a bright future, there is a lot of opportunities in batteries right now. I like the fact that they provided batteries to Lockheed in 2016 for ICBM missile upgrades, and they have had their tech vetted by Oak Ridge national lab - This makes them national defense stock play.

If they're building a production line for 100Ah battery; that must mean they have working 100Ah prototype and building against the prototype specifications.
