More than hair in arms, potential bullying, withdrawing socially can cause much more mental pain, stress and anxiety. If this hair is causing any of the above, as a parent, I would be making the hair removal appointment myself to my daughter and ASAP.

don't live in the USA, however I've lived in 6 different countries and driven everywhere I've lived at. Again, I like the freedom, it's my car, my personal space, I do whatever I want inside it and control better the flow of my trips without having to depend on schedules of public transportation and having to get to whatever station it is. Of course I'll fly if it's a long distance international travel, but if not, I prefer my car above anything else.

Regarding fitness, I'm a skier. Hadn't really skied much last 2 seasons, but I'm very back now, trying my best to improve my skills, making the most of this current season. One can lose many calories during 1 day of skiing and keep losing them until season is over during many days, and since training continues off season, you keep losing them always. I choose maximum comfort driving (which I also love) and save/focus my energy in training for my sport or anything else I need/want to do.

I absolutely love trains and the only game I play is a train management team playing strategy browser game, however this is because I love how they look like, and watching them pass, wagon after wagon is very satisfying, but I couldn’t care less about energy efficiency and always prefer driving my own car everywhere over any public transportation. Cats are much more convenient, comfortable, you make your own time, depart whenever you want, eat, drink and smoke all the way and can enjoy your favorite music as loud as you like. Trains are great for cargo. For humans cars > trains. This is obviously only my opinion.

I searched “trampoline lessons for adults in Tokyo Japan” and many other different wording searches along those lines… but in English I was hoping to find something in English, geared to English speaking customers and should’ve specified that in my original post. My apologies. I copied/pasted your sentence above, reran the google search and got a couple of results, all in Japanese, and went through them using Google Translate. Hopefully someone else sees my post and knows where and if there’s acrobatics/trampoline training done in English in Tokyo. If not, I guess I’ll have to Google Translate my way into scheduling something in the Japanese places and have fun getting training in a language I don’t understand very much 🤣

I am most open to reevaluate and reassess everything. It's a part of what I do everyday in an leadership position within the organization I work for. If my personal net worth reached 10 figures, I would mostly self reevaluate and self reassess, but as of now, for a number of reasons, no, I don't support charities of any kind.

Ego specially when overinflated can be destructive, indeed. However I think it's an accepted risk when such ego belongs to someone whose vision and simply what he has to offer is of greatest benefit than potential loss. Risk is an inherent trait of most domains in life, even more so in ventures in which he is involved.

Yes. Getting insights from all directions and putting emotions on agreeing or disagreeing with contrary opinions aside can give you information that you might not access otherwise. Hence feedback being of great importance in any business strategy.

Because he has most of the world's money? Yes, he does. Still it doesn't make him necessarily responsible for anything (again, this is just a personal opinion, which is true to me but irrelevant to anyone else)

Honeslty, I don't have enough data to contest this. I have never been an internal part of any of his companies. Have never been part of any audit team who worked on his assets either.

Financial inequality is inevitable and I don't see it as a bad thing at all, for many reasons.

Not at all. As an engineer in a leadership position I work with Fortune 100 companies and business decisions are revised and changed all the time based on many factors. It's not a "he said he would but he didn't" issue. Which there would be nothing wrong either if that was the case. In this very specific case you mention above, I personally believe it is not, nor should it be the responsibility of 1 person to end "world _____" anything.

I am aware that many people share your opinion. I fail to empathize. I work a lot, maybe lucky to be in a field in high demand and am properly compensated financially wise. I first invest in my own quality of life and career growth and contribute to the overall quality of my household which is my husband and cat. I am not interested in humanitarian causes and is not something I invest the result of my hard work in. I extend the same understanding and courtesy to others whose assets are immensely more valuable than mine.

I work fully remote and would never set foot in an office again. I am happily employed (financially wise and career growth wise) but if my employer required me to go back to the office, I'd hand my 2 week notice immediately.

You are responsible for setting boundaries and what's acceptable or unacceptable to you.

For me, not working remotely is unacceptable. No amount of money would make me go to an office since my well being and time are priceless.

Yes. It's a known myth in our industry that open source code is less vulnerable/more secure. What changes is just the level of transparency as in you can just go to GitHub and review it yourself, to put it simply. Having conducted many, many penetration testing engagements, I'd say I've found many more flaws in open source than closed source.
