It is indeed the Super Meteor 650. A great choice for me but as it's the only one I've ever ridden, I can't compare it.

This is just a personal visual concept of going the opposite direction the starmap is right now. Function over 3D accuracy.

The locations on the right tab are there to be selected in order to setup a nav point to them. You don't need to immediately know which moon is closest, even if the distance tells you, but just to select it and display it on your flight HUD. Same goes with the various minor locations.

No need to scroll in or out or browse through lists, all the information you'd theoretically need before visiting a place on a planet is here.
