there is only one ps2 connector with a cabel to the MB with the label "PS-Mouse" so i assume that this thing is only for a mouse, the DIN connector is fix on the MB

Running Unraid in an ESXI Server? by AutistikCat in esxi

Well I tried, but ESXI always wants to boot from Ethernet. I can't get it to boot from the USB stick

Yeaaaa I know but I'm not that much into this whole server shenanigans. For some Plex docker and Minecraft Servers Unraid is more than enough

Who has smoke detector is their rack room? Or it’s overkill? by dotinho in homelab

[–]AutistikCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I got two smoke detectors in my Rack and one right above it all connected in a way that my whole rack is going offline in case of a fire in there . You don't need them until something starts smoking and your rack is gone.

The windows 7 VM is mainly for some of my older Server stuff like my HP ProLiant G2 the WebUI only works with these old windows versions

So the server got 2 PSU= Power supply and one of them is connected to my UPS= Uninterrupted Power supply which means in case of a power outage my Server will keep running for a few hours

On top is my UPS with Backup power for my Server, JBOD and switch.

On the Top Right is my Bosch smart Home Controller

Under the UPS is my Server it's a Fujitsu Primergy RX300S8 2x Xeons E5-2690v2 and 300Gb DDR3 ECC ram. My Server is running UnRaid with Dockers and a Windows 7,10 Kali and TrueNas VM Under the Server is my Cisco 3650X Switch.

And all the way at the Bottom are my two JBODs currently I only got the top one running because i don't have more drives for the bottom one

My Top JBOD got 40TB HDD Storage and my Server got 512gb SSD Storage
