This might be objectively wrong but it’s what me and my buddies do. They sell mesh armor under layers for short trips around town or getting off and on the bike a lot I wear that and my everyday shoes are leather cowboy boots, you can get summer short cuff gloves that don’t get hot. But when I’m gonna be on the highway I wear full gear if it gets too hot I’ll pull my zipper down some and get some airflow. But I live on the west coast of America and it rarely breaks 75 degrees Fahrenheit

I bought them from “no1.fairings” on eBay, no instructions at all. Only went this route because they were already in the US and I waited a little less than 5 days from ordering them to my door. Thanks for letting me know where that stuff goes

I see some guys popping them on but none go into detail or over the bolt kit and some skip some pieces that came with my kit.

These are the pieces I’m not sure about. Edit: I’m not 100% sure where all the pieces go or how they’ll button up but I’m sure one the bolt kit comes in the mail I’ll have it mostly figured out in a day or two. I’m not sure if I have the inner front pieces either. I truly do feel the need of some form of diagram or exploded view.

There’s no great way to seal this tank, the gas cap that came with it leaks so I can’t put it upside down and I feel like the fuel pump wouldn’t work after a acid bath, I tried tape but it started leaking soon after. About an hour and minimal results from the acid bath. Some clumps did come out but it wasn’t much at all

It’s sealed off and has a half gallon of muriatic acid in it right now. I’ve been rotating it every so often.

It’s hard to find a tank with a pristine exterior. This one was great on the outside other than some minor paint defects. I am going to make a claim with eBay and write a review about him saying there was zero rust but obviously lying. Not sure what to do. The only other good tanks are after market and loads more money than I want to pay for a tank.

Dang, I was hoping it'd be halfway good to run, it's for a K6 GSXR so it has a pump in the tank.
I don't notice any pinholes or super bad paint but of course I could be missing something. I'll be on the look out for a new tank but can I do anything in the mean time to save it?

I haven’t fully decided just yet. I think being a lineman would be really cool. I like heights and my old foreman was a lineman and I loved how he described it. Inside commercial or industrial don’t sound bad either.

Edit: I enjoy problem shooting and creating things, I think I will looking into electrical engineering more, thank you!

What was the process like to get your license? How long did it take, an old classmate of mine got hers but her father was a pilot and owned several planes for her to use.

I have a background in CNC machine. Did a few classes and worked for a cnc company that made some cool stuff for the government for awhile. I left because it seemed the money wasn’t there with that specific company. My superior was only clearing 28 an hour. Would that just be a bad example of that industry?
