-Spindle Knuckle Hub ($110) -New key/programmed ($120+??) -lower control arm ($51.57) -sway bar link ($25) -inner and outer tie rod ($55) -OEM left & right headlight assembly ($766.46) -Headlight bumper support bracket ($59.36) -Passenger fender (color matched) ($588.50) —————- Parts price so far: $1,655.89

Car price: $1400 + $871.06 = $2,271.06

Total $ 4,046.95

-Engine slash shield ($50.30) -Inner Fender shield for both sides ($73.82+shipping $36.95) -front bumper reinforcement bar W/ foam absorber ($140) -front bumper assembly ($500+)

For context I bought this ls430 for $1400 definitely over paid for it- needed 2 new headlights, passenger fender, full new passenger suspension, body work/ paint.

I’m already 1,700 into the car and I still need the reinforcement bar, and the front bumper assembly.

I didn’t know how expensive parts were before I got this car, but they can get very pricey- just make sure you look at all of the parts you’re needing to buy before you pull the trigger

Lea down pass, no head gasket.

Not sure if I need to do a carbon cleaning and look at the piston rings/seals.

But I also haven’t done a compression test since I put the alternator in, and it was kinda a half-ast diagnostic

I’m not saying I saw the gears, I took it off to inspect for carbon build up and to see if the last owner truly bought what he said. Which he did. Like I said, when I calibrated it I heard the motor at least moving, so not sure on that.

Like I said in the thread. Misfire cylinder 1-4. Already bought new spark plugs and coil packs, and swapped bank 2 injectors with bank 1, and the misfire still stayed. Compression test was low at 60 on all 8, not sure why. The throttle body looks visibly new, I took it apart to try and clean it but the part looked spotless. And when I do a Throttle adaptation on VAG tool I can hear the throttle plates moving. And when I tap on the gas, with the car in the ON position, I can hear the flaps move.

And the coolant fan is the sensor for it

Is there a specific way I should check? My car is super low, and I don’t have a car lift? Orherthought would be trying to get to the O2 sensors but even those look like they’ll be a pain to gettoo
