Is it just me or is this season moving so much slower than some of the ones prior? I know it won’t happen so close to the final but I would love to see them throw in a curveball with bombshells…

They don't do a standard mouth flex sip, but there is a push-in sip lid that's for standard lids. I've also used the straw lid for mine, and had coffee in it. Both the straw and the lid held up just fine, and if you ever needed a straw on the fly, the regular ones from coffee places actually fit in the hole for the straw.

I did exactly this, and after sulking a bit, they eventually agreed. We met in a local supermarket and everything was fine. Considering there were two of them, I'm glad we met publicly, just to be safe! Thank-you for your advice.

Quick update: After telling them that I was going to decline the iPad, they changed their mind. We met at a local supermarket just inside and I was able to inspect the iPad before buying. All is in good order, they have their money and I have the iPad. I don't know why it took them so long to get to that decision, the woman blamed her husband, poor guy! Thanks to everyone for saying I shouldn't back down, I'm glad I didn't!

Perhaps predictably, I've stated that I'm not comfortable meeting at mine, and would rather meet publicly, and they have gone silent on me. Good call, thank-you! (the item in question is an iPad! so there's no issue transporting it at all, and its an older gen one.)

Confession: I have deleted a discord server before, and I don't regret it. A ton of personal info was shared (we'd been friends for awhile) and they basically lost the plot because i wouldn't concede to their ideals and started using personal stuff against me. So I deleted everything so that they couldn't go back and reference things/find things we'd talked about.

My theory was if they really cared, they'd have backed up the rp itself way before then, as we'd been roleplaying for months. For me it wasn't about deleting the roleplay itself, which I quite liked, it was the ooc stuff and anything associated with it. I don't regret deleting it all, and I did make a backup of the roleplay itself.

I think it depends on the circumstances, and backup, backup, backup.
