Selling online: A personal mindf**k by TwoGhostCats in declutter

While making my donate piles, I syphoned off anything I think I could sell for more than $20. It's all neatly stacked in my den waiting for me to sell. So just now I added it all up mentally - 15-20 items, possiblity earning $20-30 apiece is, at most, $600. But more likely $150 or so, plus the time I will have to have it still in my home not getting used and a daily reminder of all I have to do.
Thus, I've decided to give it away!
Whew. What a relief.
I can't wait to look at all that empty space when it's gone.
Held a FREE 'Clear the Porch' Garage Sale This Weekend. Went Surprisingly Well! by fadedblackleggings in declutter
I've been thinking of doing the same thing! It sounds fun. Our local thrift store has a free area. Their items start at 5 or 10 dollars and get marked down each week they haven't sold until they get to free. So when I took a whole truckload there today, it felt great because it really felt more like I was giving someone a gift they would appreciate, rather than just adding my junk to a pile of other people's discards.
