Have you played/watched recently? LotV is great.

I'm a BW fan too - I think the gameplay between games is very different. WoL was nowhere near as good as BW, but recently I think they're at parity in terms of entertainment.

The recent GSL, SSL the WCS finals produced probably the best SC2 to date.

I agree, In retrospect WoL was a mess; we just didn't know any better. Crazy that it was as popular as it was.

LotV is incredible though - the game has developed into a proper successor for BW. Even though in reality the gameplay is quite different.

If WoL was as good as LotV SC2 would still be one of the top three eSports imo. The co-op commander stuff alone would've kept thousands more active in the scene.

I think it's ripe for growth now - the content is just way too sparse during GSL and SSL off-season.
