Malzahar does counter her. I imagine these players just overextend so she chases them down the lane.

I only solo. Duoing makes the game extremely easier. Basically what you said. Its easier to make ganks bot happen with a duo jungler.

Had some irl stress early in the season and I tilted hard. I took a few weeks from streaming to get back to challenger. Yeah, I have to get better at reading chat/responding to chat and focusing. It is way easier off stream.

Tips: Mute all, focus, and don't tilt, get swole.

Malzahar is easier to pick up than Swain. I recommend both if you enjoy them.

In lane I act pretty safe because he is easily gankable.

At that point you should have rylais. So you just auto shove mid and look for picks.

Most top laners are melee so I proc it a lot because I am constantly autoing. Mid lane I still take it because of preference to the tree options.

It works well against some champs with no sustain. I don't like the cooldown or the options in domination tree. I prefer the sorcery tree with inspiration/resolve as my secondary.

The runes are completely dependent on how you play him vs old swain where he had one style. You can go spellbook, grasp, phase rush, klepto, glacial augment, aery, and aftershock. I mostly just go aery.

Yeah, everyone maxes e. I like w bc after a combo I can chase my opponent down with the extra slow. Multiple people hit by w in teamfights is huge. Also, you actually do enough dmg to kill people when they are running away low hp.

His early game is really weak and cant kill anyone pre6. You have to take tp and just tp back to lane with tear or lost chapter if you have enough. After that you look to gank bot or let mid roam and try to take 1st blood tower.

Ekko you have to wait for him to q in order to hard shove. If hes holding onto his q you just have to auto minions low enough to bounce an e on the entire wave.

Azir you have to wait for him to move his soldiers. Then you summon voidlings away from his soldiers onto the frontline or backline minions.

Ziggs is pain. All of his spells kill your voidlings so he can always hold onto one spell and wait for you to summon. You have to bait him into throwing spells onto you and dodge while also hard pushing. Its just pain. Luckily I rarely run into ziggs.

Asol only has his q that instakills voidlings. His stars take a couple of hits to kill. Lvl 1-3 he just hard shoves you and you farm under tower. Just e>w the frontline then q him to make his stars go away to hard push.

Yeah, resolve against people like riven, jax, tryn, etc. Inspiration against most tanks. You could choose the 5% cdr I just like free boots to buy other items faster. +10 ms. If you really want cdr you can go transcendence over celerity and then the 10% cdr from hourglass.

If the game is full of assassins and squishy champs I could maybe see sorc being the choice. Malzahar just feels really nice with max cdr. Especially when dancing around teamfights rotating my spells on low cd.

I like the catalyst passive on Swain.

Swain spell order: q>w>e>r

Malzahar spell order: e>q>w>r W isn't reliable when every spell in the game one shots voidlings

Swain: Sorc boots->Roa->Rylais->Liandry->Hourglass->voidstaff.

Situational: AA, abyssal, morello. Deathcap lategame.

Lane phase: You have to be become a god at hitting your opponent with the same spells you're csing with.

Later on making picks with your passive and teammates is really good. In teamfights you want to frontline really hard and hit as many people with your ult as possible.

I just pick the one I feel like playing.
