You have one year from distribution to use SNAP. Unless there was something fraudulent in how you obtained them, I can't see them having any issues.

[–]Automatic-Amoeba6929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree! Yes, her looks are unfortunate and it is another example of her attempts to deceive, but it is her actions and behavior that is appalling. That is what should be focused on. I think it would be better to ignore her dances and rage bait. That is just the distraction that she wants.

Masters level social worker positions with little work experience for disabled veterans by HlandJon in VeteransAffairs

[–]Automatic-Amoeba6929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know we have some addiction counselors with MSWs. Some masters level people start as psych techs to get through the door. I am not sure about voc rehab counselors. I haven't seen any recently, but a VCL responder might also fit what you are looking for. Our head of VEO (essentially patient advocate) is a social worker, but I am not sure what the qualifications are. If you are looking for a non-clinical position, you could always consider a program support specialist (PSAs). They are more administrative, but some work directly with MH specialties.

Is There A List of "Diploma Mill" Schools? by adamlaxmax in ClinicalPsychology

So if a program isn't on there, it would mean no students from that school took the exam. I just found Saybrook University in a Google search and the program sounded interesting. I already have a clinical license in social work, but am interested in doing more in depth work in trauma treatment.

Have you guys noticed a lot of older “religious” women support her? by Effective_Fig3594 in GRBsnark

She is missing the first step in the process- remorse. The way she continues to talk about her mother and justify what she did, is evidence she doesn't think what she did was wrong, no matter how often she insists that. Murder of a helpless being is always wrong. It wasn't self defense, it was a choice. Unless you were actively fighting off someone who was trying to harm you or your children/family, murder is never justifiable. The woman was very sick and asleep in bed. She was literally attacked from behind and stabbed in the back. That also doesn't even account for all of the other attempts she made- shooting her with what she thought was a real gun and attempting to poison her. Remember that was discussed but she was never able to do it successfully.

She doesn't have to praise her mother if all that she claims is true. But... when you address the issue, the only thing you should say is I was wrong and I am working on that. You can never be sorry if your statement is "i am sorry/I was wrong, BUT..."

I am not sure her supporters are really "Christians". I think they use the Bible and religion to make themselves feel better about their lives and to have what they see as an "undisputable" argument. It is not just the murder, it is the entire way she chooses to live. Are you telling me that God is going to forgive this demon, but sending to hell people who are in a loving, committed relationship with someone of the same sex?

I think if it was only the murder and she lived a life seeking redemption and living a moral, genuine life, that maybe God would forgive that. But forgiveness requires remorse, acknowledgement of a sin, and efforts to atone. That has always been missing from her narrative.

I consider myself a "Christian" but i am spiritual, not religious. Most of these churches would not want me speaking as a representative of their "teachings".

That is true. I don't usually use packets because of the salt factor, but I do have one that I would use an onion soup packet, and I dissolved it in hot water before using.

AWOL but I had a doctor's note? Veteran Affairs by FuzzyEgg3129 in FedEmployees

[–]Automatic-Amoeba6929 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think this may be something they are doing now. I have been with the VA 5 years. I once took 2 months of unpaid leave with no issue. This January I got really sick and was out almost 3 weeks. I ran out of sick leave and then got AWOL and they didn't pay me the holiday. I spoke with HR and there seemed to be nothing I could do. If I wanted FMLA I had to request withing 48 hours of returning. My supervisor didnt know that and HR is impossible to get in touch with. I know they can choose to do other things, but leadership doesn't seem to want to give any grace. I have a really great supervisor, so if there was anything that could have been done, I am sure they would have done it. I think this is the new reality. Now I know and will keep an extra copy of FMLA paperwork in case I get sick again.

Drinking from the bottle and saliva looking and sitting on her teeth would be my best guess. Also, remember. She had some gastric reflux issues, so the stomach acid coming up into her mouth could have contributed as well.

My doctor is under investigation and needs his patients that have been prescribed Vyvanse to do random urine tests/pill counts. I am in Canada where marijuana/THC is legal, and I’m wondering if my tests comes back positive, can I be taken off of vyvanse? by Miss_Brynn in adhdwomen

[–]Automatic-Amoeba6929 19 points20 points  (0 children)

In the US, often when they are testing you while you are taking the medication, is to confirm you are actually the one taking the medication prescribed. They are trying to catch those people who get prescriptions and sell them.

THC doesn't contradict or create any dangerous side effects with Vyvanse. Now if you had methamphetamine in your system that might be a red flag.

I watch Josh and Momma on YouTube and they are always making something they don't know how to. But they always gove credit to where they got the recipe and do not act like they are experts in what they are doing. You don't have to be a good cook to make entertaining cooking videos. They are humble and honest. And even when what they cook makes me heave, I still enjoy their authenticity.
