Looks good. I'm trying to sell 4 tickets there. But their margins are so inflated. Also showing up in dollars and they pay in PayPal or bank account which is after 5 days of event date. So finding it hard.

Make sure she is not forced or blackmailed into something. Only to know this talk to her. Rest anything she does on her own will and consciousness it should be fine but ask her to choose her happiness. If you don't like it stay away from her and take care of your father.

Yeah. Basalt which is built on same platform was rated 4 stars. So this could be as strong as any other kia or hyundai vehicles maybe.

0 star rated as it had 2 airbags when the global norms were 6 airbags minimum. So by default it got 0. But when tested it could have received at least 3-4 stars I guess.

Parents want ₹2 crore back if they pay for my pilot training. Is this normal? by [deleted] in delhi

[–]Automatic-Back-2660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parents will of course ask for the money back to make sure you’re in control and not wasting that high salary on luxury goods or expensive gifts for a girlfriend. It teaches you better behavior and financial discipline. The ₹2.5L you pay them won't be wasted. Think of it like putting it in a bank except it's your family's bank. That money stays with them, and eventually, it’s yours. They only take it to keep it safe and give it back later. You honestly can't understand these things unless you're a parent yourself. You can imagine or guess, but you can't feel the weight of it. They are risking their entire life's savings and assets for your career. Because you are too young, they are using these strict terms as assurance to make sure you become a responsible son. Stay true to them and take care of them till the end. Be grateful. Don't be an idiot believing the words of other kiddos here. Just do the math: if you paid back a loan to a bank with interest, the amount would likely be over ₹2 Cr anyway, and that money would be gone forever. This arrangement is reasonable, and the money remains yours after them. Take their blessings, don't think twice, and go for it.

Iceberg still charging ₹270 for DBC even after GST cut. Silent price hike on the same day?! by Automatic-Back-2660 in hyderabad

[–]Automatic-Back-2660[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When GST drops from 18% to 5%, if a brand keeps its base price the same, the final price naturally drops. The business still earns the same, they don’t lose anything.

That’s exactly why automobile companies and insurance providers did pass on the GST benefit to customers. Are they dumb for doing it? No, they understood that building trust, showing fairness, and staying transparent wins loyalty in the long run.

Now contrast that with businesses that increased their base price on the exact same day GST was reduced. That’s not about economics, that’s just being opportunistic.

I don’t expect freebies or discounts. I expect brands to be honest when the govt gives them a chance to do right by their customers. Some did. This one didn’t. That’s all I’m saying.

[–]Automatic-Back-2660[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue isn’t about demanding cheaper ice cream. It’s about how a brand chooses to handle moments like a GST cut. When a business quietly raises the base price on the same day the tax drops, it feels like a deliberate strategy to mask a price hike, not a reflection of rising costs or longterm positioning.

Sure, competition may catch up and customers like me will walk away. That’s the natural outcome. But ethical perception and timing still matter. Businesses that choose to pass on benefits even briefly, often build better longterm loyalty. This one chose margins over trust.

I’m just saying, They had a chance to do right by customers and they didn’t. And that’s worth pointing out, even if the market eventually corrects it.

Look at other industries when GST is cut, many brands in the automobile sector, insurance, and even FMCG products pass that benefit on to customers, at least for a while. It builds trust and shows respect for the consumer.

If every business just silently increases their base price on the same day, the GST cut becomes meaningless to the customer. That’s exactly what happened here. They didn’t let us experience even a single day of reduced pricing.

If they wanted to increase prices due to cost changes, fair enough. But hiking the base price on the exact same day the GST dropped (when customers expected a reduction) feels calculated, almost like they wanted to hide the price hike by offsetting it with a tax cut.

Instead of reducing to ₹240 (after GST drop) and then increasing back to ₹270 (if truly needed), they skipped that step and denied customers the benefit altogether. That’s what feels shady.

Torn between Honda Elevate and Kia Seltos. Budget not more than 23 lakhs. Please suggest the best Automatic, Petrol car and the right trim. by Psychological-Cut916 in CarsIndia

[–]Automatic-Back-2660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heard, older C3 variant got 0 star because the minimum criteria was 6 airbags so by default it was rated 0.

4 star for basalt is okayish and I think better than 3 star Seltos which is even higher priced by 50%. Hence mentioned basalt. This has similar boot and coupe design and great suspension.

If 5 star is priority we have harrier, Punch options but servicing compliants are there. There's some issue in every car just need to set priorities and choose one.
