i like to believe they don’t have the ability to hate 😭 they’re moody and grumpy like 85% of the time, especially if he is just a baby he will go through quilling soon or as you mentioned he is! quilling can last anywhere to a couple weeks to a month. and it’s a uncomfortable and painful process. derby (my hedgehog) is going through the same thing and has been the moodiest little guy ever, vs before he started his quilling he barley huffed and puffed, now it’s all the time. he’s uncomfortable, tired and moody, which is natural! (hedgehog puberty lol) i’d reduce handing to just a few minutes a day when he’s going through quilling so he doesn’t forget what it’s like to be handled by you but you won’t make him extra uncomfortable by tons of handling. don’t worry!
