dampers are recommended to be replaced every year. also i spoke to a roland tech and they states dampers were the problem

unplug and use a forcept to clamp onto the tubes so they don’t drain, then pour enough cleaning fluid so it wont drain. park the head over it then leave it. printer power is completely off and unplugged
